https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=3008910771 I was given this task after the deadline was missed by one of the other computers. When that other computer completed the WU, I then completed it as well and my work was marked Invalid. I have looked and looked and I can not see where my results vary at all from the two Validated computers. I thought all three computers would normally get credit if this happened? Yes, that is what typically happens in this case. All three hosts are awarded credit. I have seen this happen myself on my own hosts. You got screwed by CreditScrew it seems. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Actually, wouldn't that be the validator process instead of CS? Meow? "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

OK, you are correct. The validator was the entity that was guilty. Too used to lumping everything involved with credit awarded into the credit mechanism. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
