I seem to be getting an 'Error while computing' error and am not generating any credit.

What's up? Help.

Your GPU is not an ATI5 capable GPU, to be able to use the GPU at Seti you need an ATI Radeon HD 5xx0 GPU or better.
When you click on the TaskID of any of the errors you generate, you can read that as well:

<core_client_version>7.10.3</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[

BOINC assigns slot on device #0.
Info: BOINC provided OpenCL device ID used
WARNING: This application needs newer GPU, at least ATI Radeon HD 5000 needed, exiting !
</stderr_txt>

There are no compatible apps for Macs with older ATI Radeon GPUs at this project. Best disable the use of the ATI GPU in the project preferences.
