Just over 2 years ago, I wrote this.

Who would, back then, expect this to be said by 2 top EU officials?

"The fragility of the EU is increasing," warns EU Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker. "The cracks are growing in size."
But, as EU summit host Donald Tusk said to EU leaders on the eve of their arrival: "The stakes are very high. And time is short."
Hallelujah

As we all know, when cracks get too big, things start falling.

I don't think we should use migrants and refugees to fight our proxy wars over Brexit and the EU.

Instead, we should work to remove the pressure driving migrants and refugees out of their homelands - perhaps by not fighting our global proxy wars in their territories.

Good point & agree, but who am I to dispute top officials from the EU? After all, until March 2019, we are members of THAT club!

What with the GDPR & now this, the EU must really hate the Internet...

Hmm, meme free Internet?

...I wonder why :-)

Warming up nicely
Getting hotter

Twelve months on, who would have thought this would happen?

Some former Remainers say "look, this is a dodgy compromise, what's the point? If we are going to do this, then for goodness sake let's do it properly or just stay in".

From some Leavers, like Mr Davis, you also get "look, this is a dodgy compromise, what's the point? If we are going to do it, then for goodness sake let's do it properly".
