I grew up watching Walt Disney cartoons, including Mickey Mouse so that now when I contrive to kill a rat that has invaded my home and threatened my safety and the safety of my dog I end up feeling somewhat guilty about the rat's death. I won't lose any sleep over it but I do kind of wish there had been another way to get it out of my house. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

I read that mice really dislike the smell of peppermint oil, and it will keep them away if you put some where they might try to get in. Dunno, could help with rats too perhaps. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Or maybe "Who framed Roger Rabbit" instead, for a bit more of fun. |

What the Admiral said. Use a humane trap to catch the critter, then release it somewhere far away - a woodsy area if there is one close by. https://amzn.to/2JOE3nz if it is truly a rat. https://amzn.to/2K1IIS4 if it is a mouse. ~Sue~ |
