Finally I got a cool enough morning here to put the heat back on in the brewroom as I get another beer brew started. Cheers. |

Well that's another yeast feast underway and I was able to keep the brewroom temp down to 22C, now to see if I can remove a few degrees from out of there. Cheers. |

Finally (after a false start due to a power outage) the heat is back on in the brewroom as 6 dozen longnecks are waiting to be sterilised to be refilled. I think that I'll start off another ginger beer brew tomorrow morning as I'll have enough empty bottles by the time that it's ready. Cheers. |

I enjoyed a few beers and a feed at the pub and now I guess that I'd better put my brewroom back in order for another run in the morning. Cheers. |

That's the ginger beer kit going again and the beer kit has been out so now I'm just waiting for some things to dry before the brewroom is back in order. This ginger beer brew is the 2nd of a new formulation and the 1st batch is old enough to try now, but I've still got a few of the last formulation to get through yet. Cheers. |

I sort of did something similar yesterday Steve when a few mates dropped around early yesterday afternoon as soon as I was ready for a break from a morning of housework. ;-) Enjoy. :-D Cheers. |

It looks like I picked the right morning for bottling ginger beer as I got the place nice and cool overnight and hopefully I'll get all these bottles sterilised and the heat turned off before the heat starts building up outside which should be easy with this thick fog that here. Cheers. |

No sooner than I finished clearing up the brewroom than a couple of buddies turned up, but I've wound up with just 8 empty ginger beer bottles out of 172 of them. ;-) Time to think about starting another beer brew now. Cheers. |

The heat is back on in my brewroom as I get another lager brew started and I'm hoping to get the job finished before the heat arrives outside. Cheers. |

Well that's another brew to bottle up in a week or so. '-) Cheers. |

Well I was going to bottle beer this morning, but I don't have enough caps to do the job. :-( Though a road trip is on again tomorrow so I'll grab a bulk bag of them while I'm out west and do the bottling the day after. ;-) I did get the brewroom all cleaned up before noticing the problem. Cheers. |

A change of plans for today now sees the heat on once more in the brewroom, sadly this lot will have a multitude of different coloured caps on them. Cheers. |

Oh well. At least it was bottled before it went south. |

They only go south if the seals or airlock get broken or run dry Admiral. ;-) Mind you if 1 even does go south on me it can be run through the still anyway (that hasn't happened in my 33yrs of doing it so far). :-D Anyhow my road trip is on tomorrow morning and I'll sort the cap colours out then while getting the ingredients to get another brew started. Cheers. |

That's another beer brew off and running. Time now for a couple. ;-) Cheers. |

I certainly picked a good morning to have the heat back on in my brewroom in order to do more beer bottling as I quickly catch up on filling those empty bottles. Cheers. |

Well I was on a run until I ran out of gas (that's the real gaseous stuff, LPG, not that falsely named liquid) halfway through boiling my 2nd lot of water. :-( Luckily though I had a full 9kg cylinder on standby downstairs so now I'm waiting on that boil to happen now and I'll get the empty filled next week. ;-) Cheers. |
