Now that that 72 x 750ml lager brew is done and I'm enjoying my 3rd (and last) coffee for the morning I can sit back now to flick between the 12hr Bathurst race and the cricket.

I wonder if that Billy Beer was later rebranded to Tun as it's the worst production beer that I've ever tasted.

Cheers.

Billy Beer is so bad, I would not recommend it for any animal consumption.
Even cheap old Budweiser is much, much better.

Tonight, I may be wobbling a bit, but I do have a cold Budweiser in my hand.
Every time it gets empty, there somehow is another one in its place.

This doesn't hold well for sobriety.....

G'morning everyone, from another cool start in the highlands down under.

Well I woke up this morning to the strong smell of yeast farts so the brew I put down yesterday is working well.

Now that the brew is topped up and sealed, the brewroom cleaned up and a couple of other things done I'm just killing time watching the cricket before LLB arrives here.

Cheers.

I think one would be good right now. It's about midnight, and one would put me right to sleep.

How about one of these?

I have no idea about this one.

There are several different flavors of this one.

G'afternoon everyone, from what has been cool, overcast and windy day in the highlands down under.

Thanks for the shouts Byron. How's things going your way now buddy?

After helping a mate out converting his Nissan Patrol from a heavy steel tray back into an aluminium canopied job (and giving a few helpful hints on his next steps tomorrow over a couple of drinks) I better get cleaned up and changed as it's almost time now to head up the hill for a feed and a few beers.

Cheers.

G'morning everyone, from a cool and foggy start in the highlands down under.

Well it's not a bad morning here (as the sun comes up) to bottle that brew I put down last week so the heat is now on for the bottle sterilising process which I hope to have done before the heat is on outside.

Cheers.

Thanks Byron and I hope that you have a great day too. ;-)

Well I got all the bottles done as the mercury outside here hit 16C (30C is our expected max today), but it got up to 28C in the brewroom.

So it's now time for a break for everything to cool down (I started breaking out in a sweat during the 2nd 3doz bottles) and have a coffee before getting back in there to complete the job.

Cheers.

Been meaning to ask. Which is better. Your home brew or the Top Pubs?

The job has been fully completed, now to plan when the next cool morning will be to put another brew down.

G'morning everyone, from another cool and windy start in the highlands down under.

Well seeing as the temp is on my side here this morning (14C, but feels like 10C) I'm putting another beer brew down and I'm just waiting for the steriliser to do its job before I turn the heat on.

And seeing that it's P.O.E.T.S. Day here a LLB at the top pub will be happening inside of 4hrs just to get prepared for the weekend. ;-)

Cheers.

This is a post Gordon Lowe made in the past about this event in his life. It is what he wanted for himself for when the time came and he had no more say in anything.

Although I am sad that Gordon passed away, I will take a swig of beer, and toast to him.

Cheers Gordon.
