I put this job off for 2 days (just to get firewood split and in the shed before today's rain arrives), but it's now time to process that spirit wash. Then hopefully tomorrow I'll put another beer and spirit wash down. Cheers. |

Wiggo. What does it cost you a bottle for a batch of brew? Bottles, caps, brew supplies, sterilization and what other else is needed? |

Approximately 70c (aus) per 750ml bottle @6%av Admiral and make sure that you get yourself a good capping press. Cheers. |

It's been delayed by a couple of days, but the heat is back on in the brewroom so that I can process that spirit wash that I put down last week. Cheers. |

I've got all my supplies to put down another spirit wash as well as a ginger beer brew now which I was planning on doing tomorrow during the rain, but I may leave that until the day after as a return to winter conditions will be here with just 3-12C and an icy gale being expected so the heat won't go astray then. Cheers. |

I'm just waiting for the sodium metabisulphite to do its job on both my kits (and its fumes to clear) before turning the heat on to dissolve a lot of sugar on this very wintery day. Currently it's 9C feels like 0C outside and 18C inside, but at least I know that the inside temp will go up. Cheers. |

In my ongoing quest for the best tasting ginger beer combined with a very warm spirit wash my brewroom had a very spicy aroma to all the yeast farts this morning. But both brews have now been sealed after their initial overnight out gassing so that should cut down the smell a bit. Cheers. |

A bit overdue, but my latest batch of ginger beer will be bottled today. While I toss up whether to mow or process the spirit wash tomorrow and which 1 I'll do on Saturday. Cheers. |

I've watered my potatoes and seeds, swapped hoses, and now the heat is on again in the brewroom. Well that at least 8hrs of today taken care of. I guess that I better get myself some more beer ingredients next week as well. Cheers. |

Well that's my brewroom cleaned up and the 2 kits scrubbed out ready for their next jobs. I'll go over to the supermarket tomorrow (as I don't feel like going out in the gale that's blowing today) to get a few kilos of dextrose and a couple of cans of wort to get the beer kit back into action. I guess that I'll have to find something else to do inside now as Sunday Beer O'clock is still a couple of hours away. Cheers. |

That's another beer brew to bottle up next week sometime and while I had the heat on I started another boiler of beef something soup, then I think that'll be time for a LLB. Cheers. |

Well I finished with the heat in my brewroom 30mins after sunrise and playing in the boiling water just now (30mins later) so now I'm just trying to get rid of that heat before the natural stuff gets here. Cheers. |

Pandemonium coming to my local brewpub, they have Russian River brewing, Pliny the YOUNGER, coming. Expect the line to start about 6:00 AM, they don't open until noon. |

After getting over the sodium metabisulphite fumes the heat is back on in the brewroom as I get another beer brew started. Cheers. |

Well that's the bottles washed and sterilised before today's heat sets in, now I've just got to see how much heat I can get rid of before this high level fog gets burnt off and while the bottles and I also cool down. Cheers. |
