I'm pretty much doing the same thing Gordon;
Hawaii has enough heat for that BBQ Wiggo if you happen to run short.
kind of looks it will be cooking for a while.
hope they come out okay.
Cheers everybody

I don't have a grill, but I've been thinking about buying one called The Big Green Egg. It's awfully expensive, though; I'm not sure I'd use it enough to merit the price.

G'morning everyone, from our coldest morning so far this year in the highlands down under.

Well it's a very frosty -4C (feels like -8C) outside here this morning, but hopefully it'll warm up quickly.

We got a few things moved yesterday, but the old shed is still standing (maybe today it'll come down).

Anyhow with 5hrs still to go before Beer O'clock gets here I better go and get another coffee.

Cheers.

How often do you grill outdoors? And how very much more will you have to use it to make you feel good about it?

Well, I don't grill out at all, right now, since I don't have a grill, but this Big Green Egg thing is supposed to be really nice if you like grilling. I'd have to do it at least twice a week to justify the price of the grill in my mind.

I'm sure I'd be quite happy at one of your BBQ parties, Wiggo. :~)

The one thing about the weather in Adelaide, South Australia is even in the depths of Winter we get a lot of days that are clear and cool/mild, as we don't get snow or extremes like
Melbourne or Sydney, perfect bbq weather..

:)

Oh, my hat is here for sure. I can't rule out a trip, though.

That growler of beer I bought the other day was ok, but it goes flat so quickly. You really need to drink it within a day or two.

G'evening everyone, after a great late autumn (fall) day in the highlands down under.

Any beer that I don't finish in the appropriate time gets thrown, so I finish mine (waste not want not) and all my hats hang around here (somewhere). ;-)

Anyhow, hopefully the council will be happy with a mate's block now after some more clearing and now it's time for some dinner and then maybe a 3 finger glass or 2 of sipping whiskey before bed.

Cheers.

There's so many popping up around here, brewmasters are in demand.

Message 1936987 - Posted: 24 May 2018, 21:19:15 UTC

G'morning everyone, from a sunny warm start to P.O.E.T.S. Day in the highlands.

And then a thick fog rolls in.

Well I just have a few small things to do here this morning and then I'll be all caught up on stuff that got put off while I was crook.which should be all done before Beer O'clock arrives in 4hrs.

Even out here in the back blocks we have a microbrewery just outside the village, but I don't like fruity flavoured beer, so I'll stick with my minimicrobrewery produce or a Tootheys New at the pub.

Cheers.
