I live in the middle of almost nowhere. Five miles to the nearest grocery store, Dollar General or Sonic. McD is about 15 minutes at highway speeds. If I go into town. They put freshly ground coffee beans in a filter funnel and set it over a single serving cup, and then pour hot water through the funnel. The method takes longer, but I like the result. I'll have to take a picture the next I'm in there. It's definitely not an assembly-line fast way to serve coffee, but I guess they figure it's worth the effort. My question is about the cost to them.
