To those of us used to decent Italian coffee (not the stuff they serve in tourist areas) any tinned instant coffee is a poor imitation of the real thing.

I LOVE coffee ice cream.

Finally a kindred spirit! If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, I highly recommend their coffee ice cream.

:-( I live in a small town. We don't have anything nearby. Well, except McD's. We don't even have a Starbucks. :-O

@Suzie
Try living where I do. I live in the middle of almost nowhere. Five miles to the nearest grocery store, Dollar General or Sonic. McD is about 15 minutes at highway speeds. If I go into town. Then it is a decision of what you want to do and what store location you want.

I forgot to mention in my opening post that the place I go does a "pour-over" style. They put freshly ground coffee beans in a filter funnel and set it over a single serving cup, and then pour hot water through the funnel. The method takes longer, but I like the result.

Yep, basically like that. I'll have to take a picture the next I'm in there. It's definitely not an assembly-line fast way to serve coffee, but I guess they figure it's worth the effort. My question is about the cost to them. I think they only use the grounds once, but I guess they portion the beans for each cup, and the cost is the same as brewing a whole pot?

Like my coffee with evaporated milk.

Layered chocolate and coffee cake with Seville orange jam is something special.

Me and my nephew love chocolate fudge cake with cream on top and hot extra strong fresh coffee poured at the base so it soaks in.

Strangely enough, as much as I love sugar and sweets, I usually take my coffee black.

There's a dizzying array of Coke flavors nowadays, but the original is still my favorite.

Anybody ever use one of those Coke Freestyle machines?

Yes I have. I like Mello Yellow Peach. My brother likes it to but does the diet version.

I used to like Mello Yello. Haven't had it in a long time. Peach is an interesting choice to blend into it. The locator on the Free Style site tells me there's lots of the machines around me. I'll have to investigate.

We actually have no idea what "covfefe" means. I could be coffee, but we really don't know.
