Well it dropped down to a frosty -1C (felt like -4C) here this morning, though we are expected to get to 18C today, but now that the sun has got rid of the frost the temp here is currently at 3C (feels like 1C).

Cheers.

Was shivering by the time I got to work, even with a jacket & gloves on.
My small bike doesn't have a fairing or windscreen, so you get the full effect of the wind, just sucking the heat out of you.

16°c is too cold for a minimum, let alone a maximum.

The mercury made it to 17C (felt like 13C) here today (a nice sunny autumn day for here), but after having dinner and a few beers at the top pub the temp is now down to 5C (feels like 2C) and -1C is our expected overnight low.

Cheers.

Cheers.

I totally agree Grant. 25c would be much better, but very unlikely to see that before next Autumn.

Australia is at the top of my list of places to go before I die. I'll have to make sure I get the right season.

The best season would depend on how well you can deal with heat or cold.
If you're good with the heat, then our summer (northern winter) is the best time, although here in the north access to many areas is closed at tha time of the year due to flooding. If you struggle with the heat, then our Autum/Winter would be the best time. For the far north and central areas, even the locals can find the heat/ heat & humidity very trying, so either side of summer would be best fro those areas even if you cope well with heat.

Your fall is our spring and would work for you for the southern 2/3rds of the continent, but for the top end do it in your summer Gordon as our winter is the only time that I'd travel north of the border.

Cheers.

It's actually warming up a bit here.
22° min up to 32° max. Not as bad going to work in the morning as it was, but still damn cold.
