Looks like winter has finally arrived to southern WA.
Here it's actually warmed up a bit again, but not too warm during the day and at least the nights are cool if not cold.

Something is wrong, we havn't had a frost here for 3 days now. :-O

But we have had a few nice warm days though, sadly today is not one of those. :-(

Cheers.

A very frosty -4C (feels like -7C) here this morning as we head for a max of 14C with a cold wind out of the SW.

Cheers.

The temp here has just reached 12C, as the SW wind arrives knocking 7C off that, but it is sunny.

Cheers.

The temp here has just reached 12C,

I think the coldest it's been since moving to Darwin has been 14°c

Cheers.

It's a very frosty start in the highlands here this morning kicking off at -2C (felt like -5C), but we maybe able to get to a max of 17C (with a bit of luck).

Cheers.

After a cool week last week, things have warmed up a bit here again.
Daytime temps are still cool (only 30°c), although the humidity has picked up slightly. But after a few very cold 17° nights it's back around the 22° region.

We here were lucky today reaching 17C, but the breeze was knocking 3-4C off that.

Cheers.

This morning here got underway at -3C (felt like -6C) and 14C is our expected max, but what windchill the westerly wind will have here today is yet to be seen.

Cheers.

Good morning from a very damp cool Adelaide, currently sitting on 8c going for a top of 12c, by the end of the week should be back up around the 16/17c (Average)...

Just crossed the half way point, less than six months to Christmas :))

By the end of the week we might get a minimum below 19°. Maximums still around 31°, I don't think we've had a maximum below 30° so far this dry season (just checked, only one at 29.5°. Round it off and it's still 30°).

Well it kicked off here at 2C (felt like -2C), but no frost due to the overnight stiff breeze, and we have now reached 5C (still feels like -2C) as there seems to be some linking between the mercury and wind speed rising together.

We're expecting 9C here today, but if yesterday's windchill factor is any indication it'll barely feel above zero.

[edit] We've just hit 6C, but it still feels like -2C and now we have a chance of sleet this afternoon.

Cheers.

It kicked of here today overcast, windy and cold, 2C (felt like -3C) and we have a chance of rain/sleet/snow by noon. In fact snow is falling less than an hour's drive south now and I've soon got to head towards for an appointment (it could be an interesting drive).

Anyhow we're expecting a max of 8C here today and the windchill is going to be even greater than the last 2 days.

Stay warm.

Cheers.

Please continue to post about your weather. As August approaches it will only get hotter here in central Texas and I'm sure I'll be enjoying your posts about cooler temperatures. :-)

Seriously.

In the highlands down under, today kicked off at -1C (felt like -5C) with a thick frost and the thickest most powdery fog that I've ever seen (probably all that's left of that snow that was heading this way). Once this fog clears we're suppose to have a partly cloudy day reaching 11C with a chilly SW wind, but at least we should be over those westerly gales that have bugged us here the last few days. Currently it's 0C but feels like -3C.

I hope that makes you feel cooler Suzie. ;-)

Cheers.

Mean while in Adelaide a brisk 2c here in the Northern Suburbs, going for a top of 13c partly cloudy no rain, looks to continue this way for a couple more days..

More wet Winter stuff by the weekend I hope as the rainfall to date is way down on previous year ( 7 months of no rain )..

Still waiting for things to really kick in here. Still around 31° during the day, 20° overnight. By now it'd be more usual to get around 29-30° during the day & 18° or less over night.

Well as I was having my 2nd beer at the pub the cloud from down south rolled in again so we maxed out at 8C (felt like 2C) here today and we're now back to an overcast 7C, but the wind is backing off so it still feels like 2C and sunset is only 2hrs away.

Also tomorrow 21st June is the shortest day of the year in Australia, days will then get longer once again..
