Lt. Steve Saunders with CPD said their guidelines allow them to use a Taser on anyone 7 and older.Kid was 11 so how was it against policy? Not agreeing with the officer's actions, however when a superior makes the quoted statement... |

Huh? Don't you have front doors with separate locks to each apartment? How the hell did she get into an apartment not her own? EDIT: Police afraid of their own shadow so much they shoot an unarmed man in his OWN home? |

Presumably this is why Sheriffs support Trumps view of the press. Those numbered have had the press investigating them. Sheriffs who cheered Trump's attack on press have their own media run-ins |

Does that surprise anyone? Nope. Just that the charge isn't being led by the union. |

Go online and if available where you live. To Police and Court Documents. As I do with my city every morning. Everything, and I mean everything that Police recovered, Subject's and Victims actions and words, etc., is public.Yeah right. So what do those public records say about the Mueller investigation. |

Just public records. What is not public is WHY the search warrant includes contraband & narcotics after the resident of said property was murdered by a C.I.B? |

So because of your absolute faith in rule of law, you allow a C.I.B to murder an unarmed resident in their own home while the perpetrator gets released on bail. How refreshing of you. |

ROFLMFAO. ARE you suggesting that an off duty C.I.B broke into the wrong apartment & murdered the resident that lived there is actually untrue? Say it ain't so!!! |

You have very serious problems. For once you speak the truth. I cannot abide ANY C.I.B. that puts on a uniform & then believe that because they wear it, they can get away with indiscriminate murder. At the end of the day, regardless of your time in Blue, you cannot condone such attitude. Should you do so... |

Breaking and entering. Killing the lawful occupant. In many states that is a special circumstance calling for significant enhancement in the punishment, usually to no parole or capital. |

Breaking and entering. Killing the lawful occupant. In many states that is a special circumstance calling for significant enhancement in the punishment, usually to no parole or capital. It is a state that says police can freely murder the citizens of the state if they remember to say they were afraid, if they were doing police things, on or off duty. (Not even a reasonable man standard, simply what the cop thought at the time justified or not.) It appears as if the DA there is going to assume the cop was not doing police things and off duty, hence a civilian. But the state has a stand your ground law so the cop still may get off. What hasn't hit the news is how the cop got into the apartment. Same key/keycode or door open or something more sinister such as having to use "force" to enter. The entire case may hinge on that. <ed>It is also a state that has the most executions in the USA. |

If the door was ajar and you were convinced it was your apartment. Wouldn't you enter cautiously, possibly with weapon at the ready, and not switch lights on, for fear of illuminating oneself and also notifying anybody else there that you had entered. Interesting case. |

Many scenario's depending upon the person involved.Despite the fact that a copper entered the wrong apartment & committed indiscriminate murder does not justify current & former LEO's absolving her. |
