I thought the other thread was getting old at 128 pages. It will be interesting to see how long this run lasts for |

My experience is that AstroPulse tasks (on the main CPU, not the GPU) often never complete. They will churn and churn using up CPU cycles and time, but not making any progress to completion. I abort them. |

That's a lot for a single machine. I only managed 72 today across all hosts. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

I must admit to bringing on a 3rd rig back online recently, just to take the chill out of the air these mornings in the highlands down under you understand, but the benefit is just other experiment of mine to see how something that was my main rig 7yrs ago does under today's conditions with a newer MB GPU app and doing Arecibo VLAR's (SoG instead of the old Cuda4.2, which was the last time I remember trying to do them). ;-) [edit] BTW, today's count is up to 25 now. Cheers. |

The presence of AP tasks seems to have taken on permanence this past month. I have 137 AP either waiting to run or in progress right now on my farm. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
