All that was with the New Edimax USB Ethernet Adapter. We'll see if the new adapter solves the Download Errors.

Not having much luck. One computer gets a couple at a time occasionally. The others get zilch.

Trying to get rid of ghosts but the RTS is rapidly dwindling to zero. Splitters have gone AWOL.

. . From what I am seeing the replica database is still offline but they have cleared the stuck Arecibo tape. All GBT splitters seem to be working (according to the status indicator) and there are still 27 "tapes" to split (3000 channels?). I would have hoped the replica databse would have been back online after the outage. But getting work does seem to be a hit and miss thing. When the slower units here are getting work it can be an hour or more before the big hitter rig gets any.

I am in good shape now for all the crunchers. I just have to get rid of 250 or so ghosts on the Windows10 >> Linux conversion machine.

I notice the AP channels that were in limbo are no longer there, but the Replica is still disabled.

yup. should get us through the California night until they get into work tomorrow, but I really liked it when they kept the queue full and I didn't have to wonder when they were going to load more data.

. . With all the Mega-Crunchers appearing among the volunteers and an hourly return rate in the 130,000 range it seems we are getting through the work much faster than we used to ...

Uploads stalled, Scheduler requests resulting in errors, and Web site & forums barely functional.

Edit- and now that I've managed to post, uploads went through, and Scheduler request resulted in work.

Same experience here, haveland stats also show a glitch for server status values.

Down it goes whatever you try.

Nevertheless, to ease our wounds about RAC, at least we have no vandals doing Gridcoin and trying to hack hard the system like it happens elsewhere, where given credits are much (and also inexplicably) higher than here.

SETI minimalist credit distribution helps protecting our home from raiders.

Sleepy,

What do you mean no Gridcoin? There's lots of gridcoin here on Seti. All you have to do is look at the top crunchers to see them.

They pose as individuals but are actually hundreds of different individuals all under the same ID number.

I mean that since there is less credit to be gained here, I imagine that GreedCoin people tend to focus on project with higher yield.

Then of course there can be some people who crunch Seti through GreedCoin for example to compensate a bit the electricity cost, but they are not those interested in pure GreedCoin stuff and I am not talking about them.
The hardcore GreedCoin people (few ones of them, as always) go (sometimes) putting havoc elsewhere.

It has happened this month elsewhere, where you get 350x credit respect to Seti.

Then I am not at all an expert of GreedCoin, I have never crunched anything for GreedCoin and I may have written some wrong details here and there, but I hope I gave the general idea.

I just tried a few of the blc03_2bit_blc03_guppi_58226_25178_DIAG_PSR_J1935+1616... files and most of them are Overflows.
Anyone else noticing this?
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=6837242686

I dunno, the later ones seem to be running OK. The first dozen or so all Overflowed.

++++++

Blah, back to Overflows...
