Stephen thank you for the correction I am not sure where I got channels from. I meant tapes/discs |

There's trouble in paradise. There seems to be a glitch every few days where things get hung up for a while, then come good again. You can see in in the Haveland Graphs In progress trace- one last week after the weekly outage, and then this more recent one. Grant Darwin NT |

Doesn't look like a replacement tape kicked into life when 0043 dropped out of the mix. Fill up now before the outrage this afternoon. |

14 GBT splitters showing green, 28 channels (some how) meant to be in progress, but no work being split. No, it's not looking good. Grant Darwin NT |

I think those 28 are "started but not finished" - preempted by the arrival of newer work. |

14 GBT splitters showing green, 28 channels (some how) meant to be in progress, but no work being split. It looks like 14 splitters are divided among 9 files. 8 of the files get one splitter each working on them, and one file gets the remaining 6 splitters working on it. The splitter processes have now been alternating between blc03 , blc04 , and blc13 files. I find it easier to see where the splitters are in the non-color version of the status page https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html |

. . Ruh Rho! looks like a bunch are waiting to be assimilated, but still looks like an appropriate time to panic. |

They may be holding off for the RTS to recover a bit ... |

They may also be short staffed. |

It looks to me like the splitters are putting out ~185k/hr which is pretty darn good for BLC only tasks. Much better than 2 months ago when the deleters were having issues. I wonder what they found with that, it was never mentioned that I seen. |

yeah surprised the forums are still up. side note: why are the forums tied to the work refresh anyway? it seems like a better idea if they were up so people could continue discussing issues. Seti@Home classic workunits: 29,492 CPU time: 134,419 hours |

That was a quickie. For the record Ian&Steve there is a forum on the BOINC DEV site for when SETI is down. Try here The Seti is Down Cafe. |
