Munching them as fast as possible.
4 in 90 -95 seconds:-)
I have never actually taken the time to do a comparison against 1080Ti before.
My Titan Xp is running these in 83-90 seconds, 1080's around 133s.

Custom water loop with GPU cores running at 35 - 42 C.

Is your Titan air or water?

If it was on water, I would make a coffee, it's at 76C. :) The Hybrid 1080s are at 46C.

Stephen do you not like these tasks because they run slowly? My 970 can do them in just over 8 minutes

. . That's it in a nutshell.

. . On my 2 x 970s they take 3.4 mins, but normal AR Arecibo tasks only take 2.5 mins. So they really kill productivity ... :(

Like the 1070ti's in this (I7) machine, straight air 60 - 75 C dependent on room temp.

Having a hard time contacting the servers through the deluge of post-outage. Reporting tasks only in dribs and drabs and still not getting any work for my empty machines.

.. my turn ...

. .& we're back!

Stephen

:)

. . @ Keith

. . Yeah! I am getting only no work available as well, though completed work did report OK on this machine. The other machine is having trouble talking to the servers.

. . (wondering if one machine has been left on direct addressing)

Stephen

P.S. in the established but spooky tradition of the forums when I looked again after posting this 16 new tasks. :)

The servers are only outputting about 5 WUs/sec at the moment. So no work, basically, for anyone...

All my hosts except for the big iron had managed to start getting work to rebuild caches. I've seen BOINC do this before where it ignores the work deficit and just returns no work is available on each request. Nothing can be done if you are impatient to just waiting it out except to stop BOINC and wait out the five minute timer. I had a system update to do that required a machine restart so that fell into place nicely.

Upon restarting the machine after the update and restarting BOINC, I got 167 tasks on first request. Should be filled shortly after a couple more requests.

Hope some new data isn't too far off.
The number of files left to process has been cleared out considerably.

Yes, I was surprised no new load of files were added during the outage.

I was surprised how quick the system recovered after maintenance with only BLC tasks available.

Yes, lately, crossing my finger I haven't cursed things, the project seems to be running fairly smoothly with plenty of work and no glitches. I see we added another Arecibo file from Monday that is splitting. Maybe the GBT is in a maintenance mode right now and thus the lack of observation files. We wouldn't ever know with the lack of communication from project staff.
