When I reloaded the SSP earlier, got a project is down message page after a long delay. And when I made a post in the cafe, I also got a project down page. It is normally at 300 tasks on it, but it's down to 171 tasks. The event log shows that it's not requesting tasks - 'don't need' is what it's showing for that Ubuntu PC. It doesn't show the cache is full on it like it would on my Windows PCs would. But these days I only have that 1 Ubuntu PC set to max allowed number of tasks by way of 10 day work load, so I don't have any PCs to compare to this morning. EDIT: found my issue - resource share issue with my projects. It's now back to 300 tasks. ~Chris ID: 1932643 ·

The "project down " issue, has been happening on and off here for at least 12 hours. It happens all of a sudden from time to time, when reloading a page, but then the page comes back again a couple of retries later. OK, thanks for the report.
