Will ASIC Crypto Currency miners work on, say, Seti@home?
Inexpensive miners currently listed on eBay include:

Or, what seems to be the current industry standard:
($200. and change - plus power supply)

If anyone has any experience with implementing any
ASIC miner, please let me/us know of your experience !

ASFAIK their name says it all, application specific integrated circuits, so the answer to your question is no, until someone builds one foe Seti which is highly unlikely.
