This may have been asked before, but without the specifics.

Will ASIC Crypto Currency miners work on, say, Seti@home?
Inexpensive miners currently listed on eBay include:

ASFAIK their name says it all, application specific integrated circuits, so the answer to your question is no, until someone builds one foe Seti which is highly unlikely.
