Can someone explain or provide a link that explains the status of the task: "GPU missing, Waiting to run (0.209 CPUs + 1 Nvidia GPU". Why is GPU missing? And why does it say 0.209 CPUs? Windows 10 Intel DH55TC CPU i3-530 @ 2.93GHz 8 GB RAM SSD Corsair Force GS 120GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 Thanks, steve1916 |

You have your computer(s) hidden by the way which impedes assisting you... this can be changed by going into your profile at the top-right then SETI@home preferences and changing "Should SETI@home show your computers on its web site?" The most common cause of the issue you are experiencing is allowing Windows to update your video card drivers. It only installs very basic ones missing the compute capability (CUDA in this case). I would suggest downloading the latest certified drivers for your card, installing them (quit BOINC first of course) checking the "clean install" option to remove any existing and it should then be OK. ![]() |

That solved the problem. Looks like 1 GPU and 4 Cores are now working. Thanks, steve1916 |

Tasks performed by the GPU do not require full time CPU services. Earl F. Parrish |
