Glad to hear of your recovery.
We all go thru things differently. They kept me in the hospital for 3 days. When I was unable to reach anyone to give me a ride home from the hospital, I walked home. It was only about 30 miles. But my wife at the time got the message and picked my up after only about 10 miles.

so bloodwork was done at 7am.
evidently it is easy to bleed at 7am.
then i bought a whole chicken to bake
and to make chicken salad with.

i've been taken off a lot of medicine,
so i must be doing okay.
fired up a cruncher.
still have 15lb weight limit on lifting
still cannot walk the dog.

my tastebuds have changed...
beef tastes horrible to me now.
might be a good thing.

Sounds like things are going fairly well. I can't fathom the day when I don't want a hamburger, though. ;~)

I still love in-n-out. So things did change flavor but that was drug related. As you wean to lower doses or different meds the taste buds will start working again.

My late father had 6 colon surgeries in 5 years.
After each one, it took 3-4 weeks for his taste buds to return to "normal".
As he was in his 70s, "normal" was not what it was in his 50s.
So he started substituting salsa and mild hot sauce for catsup.
Brought his appetite back much faster the last couple times.
