This is the logo for the Rocket City Trash Pandas. (I have no control of the size of the image.)

Cross posting is not the same as cross dressing. But I have posted a good racoon photo in Beets. Lets see if some of the raccoon lovers can say something about the team in the other threat.

Why President Coolidge once pardoned a raccoon

Bad idea, imho, but a good outcome.

I'm taking Admiral's image and posting it on Facebook.
Just thought I'd let the Admiral know.

There was a Raccoon on this float in the 2020 Rose Parade, sorry this was as close as I could get.

We are doing some home remodeling and drainage work... always a joy.

The long boards of our back deck are being taken out this weekend. Besides Purvis, I wonder who is living under there these days.

Guess we'll find out!

Arr! No more walking the plank for a bit. ;)

I'm glad some work is being done.

Me I just have to get an estimate to install an led 3rd brake lamp, a splash shield and 2 trunk struts in the car.

I replaced the dome led light myself, though figuring out how to get the bezel off and then back on was interesting.

I'm sure there are some eight legged critters under there.

When we lived in Concord, CA in the mid eighties, our tall, gray, male cat "Roscoe" waited patiently in our little succulent garden and nabbed a gopher that was at least as big as he was. Roscoe had very long canine teeth; and cats have the instinct to bite behind the neck. When we first moved there he disappeared right away and I thought he was lost for good. One night --a few days later I woke up at three AM and just had the feeling that I should go outside and look for Roscoe. I climbed up on the hills that abound in the East Bay area and called out his name. Sure enough there he was; he answered back and came up to me. He subsequently never got lost again and we took him to New Jersey with us when we got sick of what San Francisco was becoming.

I helped with hauling boards out during the demolition. Purvis must have slipped out when I wasn't looking. We found three of my gardening shoes under there. Raccoon kits like to play with such things. We also found some dusty old garbage that raccoons must have dragged under there when they raided trash bins. The spiders pretty much got out of our way. The most interesting thing we found was a skull of some small animal. Eric thought it was maybe a cat or a skunk.

I found a small animal skull when I replaced my deck. (Probably a cat.) Just the top part. And I still wonder where the rest of the skeleton went.

Our contractor found evidence of a rat colony where our deck used to meet the house.

I guess all those years of my feeding birds resulted in my simultaneously feeding rats.

Good thing there are lots of small hawks in the area to keep those friends of Mickey in check!
