It appears you've been throwing out less food than usual, I'm here to make a complaint :)

Too late. I've seen it now. This bit stood out particularly...

Females, which are large, are known to catch pigeons.
I'm not sure whether it's the male or the female that's been flying over the area for the last few days. I know we're within the territory of at least one pair of sparrowhawks, but I've never seen them this often in such a short, concentrated period of time.

I shall be posting about it later in the pigeon thread I expect. Y-e-e-e-e-s ... but I am glad the hawk survived its window encounter :)

A bear enjoying a hammock, well they like pools too, cool ones down in Los Angeles, how unbearable...

Speaking of unbearable I'm going to replace My rear struts on the car on Tuesday, since on the way home I heard one of them go BOOM!
Gak, I thought I blew a tire, almost, I got home looked at all 4 tires, nothing wrong, well I'm told what I have will do, so I'll get the NEW boxed rear
struts in the trunk and get them installed on Tuesday, it'll be a springy ride 13 miles down the freeway. Why not now? It's nearly closing time.

Thanks Stargate (S.A.).

The rear struts have been replaced, now on to the gas furnace in October, got to find out why that is not working and get that working again.

Car:
After that work on the car a/c, front brakes, steering wheel, figure out what is causing the service engine soon light to stay on since it can't be the O2 sensors that were replaced.

I've got most of the parts already.
Which for now is all that I can think of that needs to be done for the car, so far.

Home:
Replace 18-20 electrical outlets(15Amp), add 4 circuits @ 20Amps each($270 for the 20Amp alone was the estimate)
2-20Amp outlets are for window a/c units.
Replace 2 windows, technically that should be 3 windows, but the 3rd window is just a bedroom that's used for storage at present.
Add a 15,100 BTU window a/c unit and bracket to one dual pane vinyl window.
I've got some of the parts already, just not the 2 windows or the a/c.

15,100 BTU is the largest a/c unit that I could find that uses 115v, beyond this requires a 230v circuit and breaker that consumes 2 slots in the breaker box outside, the 115v breakers I use consume only 1 slot by comparison and I don't have many slots left in the box, not if I want to install a 70Amp 230v breaker for a BEV in the near future, 70Amps is the largest that can be installed in the electrical breaker box here.
A Level 2 64Amp lockable charger @ 230v would be needed for the Leaf or the Tesla, yes they're sold and this would be hardwired to the 70Amp breaker.

BEV = Battery Electric Vehicle

My favorite BEV a 2019+ Nissan Leaf E-Plus w/a 225 mile range and a 100-102KW max charge rate, plus 200hp, yeah it would have to be used, maybe.
2nd choice for a BEV, the Tesla Model 3, since there is a Super Charger network in place near every Interstate Highway all across America, plus into Canada and Northern Mexico, there are 20+ Superchargers near My location.

Nissan Leaf E-Plus Bing Search for there is a lot to read out there.
