Seems that I have won, and on Caturday! So, here is the new TLPTPHW thread. Somebody correct me if I got the Roman Numeral wrong.....not my strong suit. I shall come up with a 'magic number'. And, as customary, I shall recap the legalese lest anybody forget. I suspect rule #7 is no longer necessary for a reason most of you are aware of, but I shall retain it for posterity. And awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay we go!! The rules: 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.) 6. No double posts. Violator buys a round for the house in Rocky's. 7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post.) I guess my baseball analogy went unnoticed. Probably because of the low post count. When the event went ding. The the third out in the bottom of the ninth inning was played. The SETI Signal Hunters retired the last batter and the game was over. The Kittyman is the games MVP.
