'Tis that time again. But what time is it? Remember to set your clocks ahead on Sunday or you'll be late on Monday. I do wish they would just do away with this nonsense. But, it is a good reminder to change your smoke and CO alarm batteries as well. Meowsigh "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Is it already time again? I really would have missed the boat if you hadn't posted this, Mark. Thank you! The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Remember this is a public service announcement for American crunchers only (and those of any other country that follows the USA's lead). European crunchers don't 'Spring forward' for another two weeks yet. |

Also if you happen to be in Arizona, please ignore this message (Arizona doesn't do DST) |

Tomorrow morning at 01:00 the UK and Europe will "spring forward" one hour. I found solution to the "car clock" problem, got rid of the car ;-) |

Tomorrow morning at 01:00 the UK and Europe will "spring forward" one hour. Yes:( The only effect to people and environment is that there are many more dying in the week after. In Sweden about 30 people. |

I found solution to the "car clock" problem, got rid of the car ;-) Not possible for me. I live to far from the city and no public transport extends here. |

I have 27 clocks that have to be set manually. I know that sounds like a lot, but some rooms have as many as 5 timepieces of some sort. For instance, in one bedroom, I have two analogue wall clocks, plus a weather station, and those three items must be manually set, plus there's a computer in there that sets itself, but then I have to manually set my outdoor weather cam from the interface on the computer. Then, I've also got a little pedometer that needs to be set manually, a blood pressure monitor that needs to be set manually, a camera that needs to be set, etc., so it all adds up to lots of clocks. See. Only problems with DST! Even animals doesn't like it.. |
