Message 1918472 - Posted: 12 Feb 2018, 12:01:34 UTC

Greetings,

I have added a SSL certificate to my website about a year ago. I went to change my site URL here but the setting is default to "HTTP://". Is it possible to make the protocol optional for either "HTTP://" or "HTTPS://"?

Thank you in advance. :)

I asked that last year and David fixed that. As you can see in my account, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=41965 it works, as I am pointing with the URL to the HTTPS address of the BOINC FAQs. As far as I know, the default is HTTP, but only if you don't fill in which of the two it should be.

Hi Jord,

Got it! When I put mine in I just put "ussvrekasht.org" and the system added the "HTTP://", that's what mine was to start with. I just fixed it with the full URL.

Thanks! :)
