Not necessarily - might be like a freeway. You can extend it - make it longer - without adding any new lanes (channels).Sizing of the tapes have doubled but the number of tasks is still the same I think because there is still only 128 channelsSee that six new 100GB tapes were loaded this morning. I wonder if these are the new "standard" size? Can anyone remember if the number of channels per tape is still the same?Yes they are the same the 52 GB tapes were also 128 channels the same with the 104.8/104.83 GB tapes |

Barely a file waiting for deletion, yet the splitters are again struggling to produce any work. Grant Darwin NT |

Nothing has improved since your last comment. Looks like the RTS buffer will be empty in about an hour. Splitters are not producing anywhere near enough to maintain the buffer or build it. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

At least now there is a huge backlog of deletion work to be done. The way things are going at the moment the Ready-to-send buffer will be empty in a couple of hours or so. Grant Darwin NT |

Just notice a lot (>150) of WU with error, all with impossible time dead line Example: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=6510415895 Created 24 Mar 2018, 10:27:22 UTC Sended 24 Mar 2018, 11:13:59 UTC Reported Time Limit 24 Mar 2018, 11:14:18 UTC Is only me or is general? Do i need to do something? |

If that one had been a Arecibo VLAR, I would have said that the scheduler tried to send it to your Nvidia cards and recognized that won't go and aborted the task with a zero deadline. But it is a BLC task . . . . so no idea why. Anyone else want to guess? Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

But that one isn't a VLAR either. So I don't know why. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

No recent large Date/time changes on the system? No that i know, unless Linux mess with it by itself, i was out and just notice the error when i return. Date & Time are notmal, that one of the first things i look when arrived. <edit>Just check the history file and shows no changes on the date time too. |

Just got 2 AP's that didn't download properly :( I had one that got stuck about half way a couple of days ago. Suspended Network activity in the Manager, then re-enabled it a while later & it finished downloading OK, Grant Darwin NT |

Mine went straight to the error section automatically, bit of a bummer as there hard to get as it is.. Least I got 4 more. Wish I could recover those 2 AP's oh well! |
