I just noticed the same thing on Linux rig. The more tasks requested, the more the mix is just about 100% Arecibo.

How many other people are getting the "no work is available" messages on a normal scheduler contact currently? I also see the message paired with the "No tasks are available for AstroPulse v7"
message. Seeing this issue on all computers. Think the old problem has resurfaced again. Having to try the Triple Update now to persuade the schedulers to see my work deficit.

Looks like a simple untoggle on Project AP work fixed all computers. On the next work requests, all computers got work and the caches are staying updated and filled.

Looks like that's it for Arecibo data for a while.
Now for the RAC to plummet towards the ground again (it had been recovering nicely, even with the extended outages and down time).

That was nice wasn't it. RAC was recovering to about 80% of the peak from back in November.

. . Hi Keith,

. . Yes, it was nice for a while to see the RAC going up rather than going down ... :)

Indeed, it almost felt like one was achieving something.

It is good the project is back up and going full steam ahead. Just wish CreditScrew would go away PERMANENTLY! Oh well, can only hope I guess.

Just a note from the kitties.
Eric has put in some kind of fix, and I do not know what, but it appears that it 'may' have cured the servers of their 'midnight malaise' bottleneck.
I watched things last night, and I did not see the usual server entanglement after midnight when I got home from work.
Hopefully, that continues to hold true and 'maybe' that problem is behind us now.

We'll just have to keep tabs on things over the next few days.
If only the creation rate drops in the midnight hour, that is tolerable.
It's the comms with the scheduling server that were more troublesome around that time.

I noticed too. I was wondering why I was able to reach the servers and post at that time and didn't see the drop in work on all machines that normally happens every night. I agree with kittyman that a brief drop in creation rate is much more tolerable than the site being unreachable for work for 45 minutes to an hour. If the fix sticks . . . . . Good work Eric!

Anybody else having issue getting work for both the cpu and gpu? I am getting backoffs from the servers for some reason.

Thanks. Rebooting the router and see if that fixes anything.
