Someone needs to give the splitters a kick (re-boot?) as we're down to less than 500 WU ready to send, and the splitters are only producing 30 wu's/sec. With the inventory that low, they should be up at 45-50/sec...
Downloading and mounting some Greenbank "tapes" would also be nice...

I wonder if the Green Bank connection issue has resurfaced?

I was wondering the same thing.

Also still curious as to the reasons for the extended weekly outage.

See that six new 100GB tapes were loaded this morning. I wonder if these are the new "standard" size? Can anyone remember if the number of channels per tape is still the same?

. . Well since there are 9 GBT tapes loaded for a total of 1192 channels I am guessing that makes 128 channels per 104GB tape. But I hadn't bothered before so I cannot say whether that is the same as the 52GB tapes.

I THINK the previous 52GB tapes were 128 per channel too. I just wasn't sure.

That's my recollection as well. Must have tweaked the amount of data per channel.

I must say that it is nice to see the RTS buffer and splitter production back on track and behaving as they should this morning.

Cheers.

. . I thought that change was at the splitting level. Oh well maybe it is.

Server Status page shows lots of GBT splitters running, but for the last couple of hours on both of my systems I've been getting pretty much just Arecibo WUs, with only the very occasional GBT WU thrown in.
Anyone else getting similar allocations?
