No offense taken. If it works for you, no skin off my nose. I tried to get the 6.10.58 version and the 6.10.60 version once before from the download directory but those files and quite a few around them and slightly newer versions were all corrupted. So I never pursued traveling back in time. I can make the newer versions work for me or the Linux version I got from Tbar and I have become adjusted to and like the newer menu structures and file capabilities the newer versions offer. I really like the use of an app_config file. I dumped tasks all too often when I manually edited the app_info file. Now make changes in a app_config file and have no worries about fatfinger foulage.

I just wish I had the 3000 task limitation in a modern Windows version. I started a project to compile my own 7.8.3 version in Linux but never got that far in the project once I realized the 7.4.44 TBar version was available already and close enough to the menus in 7.8.3. I don't have Visual Studio for Windows, so compiling my own Windows version has dropped off the plate.

Splitter output is way down.
Might end up going in to the outage with no Ready-to-send buffer and little if any work in our caches if they don't come back to life in a big way, and soon.

Looks like the nightly glitch just ended and splitter output has ramped back up. One of my machines was still in backoff from the lack of server communication, but I just updated and it connected and got 70 or so tasks to fill the cache back up.

Mmmmm, no outage notification on the main page for tomorrow. (yet anyhow)

The main web page is on Pacific Time (UTC-8) so when you posted at 00:06 UTC it was only 16:06 PT.

Notification is there now.

Things are coming back online. But I'm at work, so I can't check my PCs at home to see if they need a bump to get new tasks. Hopefully we will get an update as to why the outage took so long.

{EDIT} I should say at this time the message boards and SSP are online - but most back end processes are still disabled.

Those constant notices from BONIC are a tad annoying!
Can they be disabled? Same message all the time...update version...blah blah blah...

It's an integral part of life for me. My computers are senior citizens and there have been no "latest drivers" in over a decade. That's why I quell the refresh on the messages for as long as possible. They should have some respect for these old, crotchety crunchers.

7.6.33 is not the latest version, 7.8.3 is. You do not get the message about the new version if you're already running that new version.

Just keep pounding on the Update buttons. First select all the Transfers and hit Retry, then immediately switch to Projects and hit that Update. Over and Over. All mine are uploaded and I have all new tasks.

Only took 14m for my 25.

I just finish uploading 3500 tasks, painful :(
Now to try and refill them ...

I had about 5500 to upload. Painful indeed. Got all the tasks on the Windows machines uploaded, still working on the Linux machine with 300 to go. Actually managed to get work on the daily driver before the well ran dry.
