No funny problem here.
The server was not sending any work for awhile.
I am getting work now.

The broken application settings issue. Some people suffer from it, others don't.
It had been in abeyance for some time.

30-40min worth of work left to split, then the Ready-to-send buffer, then time for a rest.

Have had pretty good luck pulling Long and Short ACEMD tasks from GPUGrid this week. Those tie up a gpu for several hours apiece. There is always Einstein for backup.

One good thing about running out of work, the deletion backlog should clear. So when the splitters come back on line they should be able to crank out plenty of work.

Does anyone know the length of time from when a 'tape' from Green Bank arrives via Internet2 before it is loaded on the splitters? I know Eric said in the past that there is pre-processing tha needs to be on each 'tape' How long does that normally take?

. . My impression is a few hours but that was multiple tapes ...

. . It seems someone has managed to mount a single tape, thanks to whoever that was, sadly that will not last very long ...
