Message 1918291 - Posted: 11 Feb 2018, 17:41:42 UTC - in response to Message 1918286.

I was about to panic because the number of channels to do got down to 1300 (or about 12 hours of channels for the splitters to do), but someone has been busy this weekend because we now have over 5300 channels lined up :-)

Saw this in the line up?

Haven't we seen this one before? Was a while ago.

Yes, I had fears we would be out before Monday rolls around at the lab, but the beavers have been busy loading more data.

I don't know if we have seen that one before. Know we have seen data from the PSR catalog before but don't remember if the number was the same.

1.2million WUs awaiting deletion.
Luckily the runtimes for the current WUs aren't too short so the Ready-to-send buffer hasn't emptied. Previously the splitter output would eventually drop right down, the deletion backlog would clear & the splitters fire up again. Not this time around.
And how long till the servers run out of disk space again?

DId anyone ever postulate why the servers go unreachable every night from 07:15 -07:45 UTC?? That time also coincides with a break in the Haveland graph traces. The interval prevents you from reporting work or refilling caches. You also get your machines into an hour's worth of backoffs unless you are babysitting them and waiting for the project to come back to life.

It's the servers telling you it is time for bed.
Or maybe it is when the big dump goes off to the various stats sites?

Ha ha, how true. Getting the machines ready for the night after they finally report and get back to keeping caches filled coincides with the call of my warm bed too.

Or why it now occurs an hour later than it used to?

I suspect that might have something to do with it. Take a look at the Haveland graphs and compare the printed UTC time under each graph to the times in the X-axis. The time that shows the daily glitch in the project being reachable is off by one hour compared to the local UTC time that I observe glitch every night. I think the servers are still on Daylight Savings Time and didn't make the switch back to Standard in November. I see the servers become unreachable every night between 07:15 and 07:45 UTC. That time doesn't match up with the blank notch in each of the graphs. Off by one hour.
