Thanks Dog that I don't do Main now. It will be without work anytime now.

I'm guessing about another hour or so ... :(

My ages:

Chronologically: 58
Emotionally: 6
Age of liver: 103+/-

Sadly, I seem to have you by 4 in each area except the center ... (though I hope to increase there as I enter month 3 of sobriety)

Congrats on your achievement, Jimbocous.
I am now in month 10.
God bless and keep it up.

I have tried reducing my global work request down to 0.5 days and that does in fact reduce the amount of work that Einstein sends me. But it also for some reason limits the work I get from Seti which then can't keep my caches filled. It is not supposed to work the way it does. I just accept the fact at this time and figure out what in fact does work.
But that is also 0.5 days of 80% if you are trying to do 20% elsewhere ...

Hence, my giving up on trying to get the BOINC system to do want I want and just accept it is broken for my situation. My methodology works for me. I could care less if it offends other people.

Atm, my cache is either full to the brim, or emptying out fast due to "no work avaialble" incidents.

Think so too. Don't know how long the prep process that Jeff is using on the old data takes. Sorta doubt it shows up tonight. Maybe tomorrow. Unless he likes burning the midnight oil or the process is automated.

And that's about the last of the current files. About 1.5hrs worth left in the Ready-to-send buffer.
Hopefully it won't take too long to convert the recently found old data in to something the current splitters can work on.

Out of work to do in the queue on the servers, and the ready-to-send is at 0

I'm still surprised the network tech people at Berkeley haven't found the source of the issue, or have I missed a message?

Eric has been posting in "news" - the issue is off-campus, and outside the control of either the project, or the university staff.

I saw a post that the issue is with Internet2 or something along those lines. I checked their website and noticed they are transferring sites to MPLS, and reducing nodes. I can't help but wonder if the university was transferred over to that new infrastructure w/Internet2 or if it has anything to do with the lack of bandwidth available for SETI.

I'm down to about an hour of work left for my GPU. Einstein will have a large debt to pay back to Seti when, if the data shortage ever ends.
