Thanks, Mike! Hello, Charles :) Every day since getting back online, I've learned something new that I'd never known before. It doesn't mean I can remember any of them the next day, which in most cases is a bit frustrating but today's ... I will be more than happy too :) Casu marzu It's a cheese. It's also a cheese I won't ever be asking you for, Mike. No... |

I'm with Anniet on this one. Any cheese with live crawling things inside is a health risk I don't want to risk. |

And from me as well! *peep over Atlantic at Americans* And congratulations too :) My daughter played Margaret Thatcher in a play once. The plot was basically her, as Prime Minister, hosting George and Barbara Bush at Chequers (the country retreat of the UK's in-office elected leader). The only props were a map of the world, a big marker pen and some eminently rattleable cups and saucers. The plot was her heading gradually into the arms of derangement, outlining her plan to return all Britain's former colonies, back into colonies. It was beautifully performed by everyone, and I laughed till I cried :) |

I'm afraid I got a bit carried away celebrating your independence, Admiral and forgot something. It was about this: Any cheese with live crawling things inside is a health risk I don't want to risk. And there's the manners thing. I'd find it difficult to look them in the eye on their way to my mouth, whether they had eyes or not. |

After toast... do you think pizza's are the next thing we burn most...? I ask because they've been... trending here. *BEAM happily at everyone ensconced in their favourite places* I was wondering if we could get a tree... to sit in. I'd like a tree to sit in, Mike. Is that at all possible...? edit: when I say here, I mean this here *wave vaguely over shoulder*, not this here *wave vaguely at Rocky's* just thought I'd mention it... |

*settle in amongst the branches* Would they take longer to burn, do you think? With a pizza stone? Obviously I'm not asking you sacrifice tonight's one to find out but... Rob's bacon could perhaps also be salvageable if we slapped it on one. |

*settle in amongst the branches* No, it goes faster. With a stone a Pizza takes just 5 minutes to finnish. Without a stone it takes 15 minutes. The pizza stone keeps a lot of heat inside the stone. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

With a stone a Pizza takes just 5 minutes to finnish....which is hopefully not enough time to forget you put one in the oven. Clevvvvver. Without a stone it takes 15 minutes.Y-e-e-e-s - the magic yet elusive 15 minute target zone. And add an hour or so to that and you can almost incinerate one. Trust me. I know :) |

I know :) You can get the same result after 15 minutes with a stone. Tried that too :) With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |
