Not too bad here either, because there should be two polar caps for Mars, in the same way as Earth, but here both on a dry surface, mostly of sand and stone.

Also one a bit smaller, but I do not know which one here right now, perhaps the one at the north.

Next the first impression is that here perhaps frozen carbon dioxide, or CO2, rather than ice, by means of water still also in the same fashion.

Also a quite magnificent photograph in that web page, only to show where these missions were supposed to go, for that of landing on the surface,
because here could be an ideal place for life to evolve, much like Earth itself, which always have had an atmosphere while also that of life.

Next speaking of ideal conditions for such a thing as life itself, also that there could be even more explanations for the reason of such thing happening.
