Now the GPUGRID is showing on my cross-project... Stats tend to run a couple days behind, as each project gets its stats downloaded by BOINCStats for incorporation. Also, you may sometimes see differences in the event that a problem occurs with a given project. For example, if you look at your daily totals in BOINCStats, you may see some days where you had a zero gain, followed by a double gain the next day, indicating that the stats dump for a given day failed. The averages will never align, either, as i believe the sites use different means to calculate them. In general, the projects will be more correct than compilers like DC, BOINCStats, etc. are. Lotta numbers moving around. l8r, Jim ... |

Thanks Grant, I'll give your suggestions a try and see what happens.. I must've switched to local preferences at some point not realizing it would have a negative affect. I'm surprised to hear using the GPU slows things down. I looked at it as just another core to use. I don't use this machine very much and thought it should earn its keep by being useful. |

Bigggg SIGH Next week my 3 x 1080 cruncher will be down to %50 of it's peak RAC on August 17! Six Months and %50, do we see a trend here? Heck if all goes as well as David's programming, I might even hit that this week! |

Mine had actually started to rebound. However we appear to be back to the shorter running WUs, with the lower payouts. So I expect it'll start falling again in the not too distant future. Grant Darwin NT |

I know I shouldn't compare Credit between WUs, but when they are almost next to each other on my Tasks listing it's hard not to notice. Time Credit 575.23 95.45 580.30 114.26 577.87 119.26 579.92 150.35 2 Seconds difference between the middle two, and a difference of 5 Credits. I can live with that, not an issue. 5 seconds difference between the top and bottom two, and a difference of 55 Credits? Seriously? Grant Darwin NT |
