Nothing related to M$, Linux boxes has the same decline (or even worst)

A simple explanation why that's happening:

1) About a little more than a week ago the project only has blc WU to crunch. (Few Arecibo/AP WU only resends AFAIK)
2)They crunch slower than the common Arecibo WU.
3) Due that your host crunch less WU per day.
4) Your RAC will follow that.
5) And CreditScrew just make that worst.

But don't worry you are still doing the same work for the project. So science is still happening.
Just the credit is less. I agree that is weird. Just try to explain why that is happening.

Ryzen loves BLC tasks.
I`m doing more tasks with my CPU than with GPU.
Arecibo takes ~4000 sec on CPU BLC ~ 2500 - 3000 sec.
Before we got ~100 CR for non overflow tasks, now its ~ 50 -60 cr.
Not that i really care, just for explanation.
Everyone gets the same and i`m here for science.

I agree with Mike's statement. Ryzen loves BLC cpu tasks. Almost 50% faster than Arecibo cpu tasks.

I know i have an Aorus AX370-Gaming K5 MB hidden in some place here.
In mine GPU's blc05takes 2:20-2:25 min Arecibo Non Vlars <2 min. Previous blc 3-4 min.
so the new blc05 WU crunches a lot faster than the previous blc WU but still slower than the Arecibo non Vlars.
At least on my host. So as Always YMMV.

But the deflation from 100 cr/WU to 50-60 cr/WU is the same here. LOL

Well, given the fact that we have been dealing with a site not working correctly for, what?? a week in a half to 2 weeks? Is it REALLY that surprising that RAC is falling??

Given that my caches are not able to be kept filled to feed the GPUs, they are force to turn to their back up projects to make up the difference.

So...I don't know why everyone is making a big deal out of RAC decline during this period. Yes Arecibo data is gone, but we already knew that was coming.....

What sucks is that we are processing more work, but getting less recognition for the work we have done.

If it drops south any faster I'll start to feel g forces

TBH, what I mostly care about my RAC is that it is an indication of how much actual work I am doing, how hard my system has been working, and _especially_ if something is going wrong. If my RAC is falling, and there is still work in the cache, everything else being equal, that would indicate to me that there is something going on with my computer, and I had best take a look at it to see why. I guess that would be my perfect world scenario, but from the comments above, it appears quite unlikely that it will be addressed any time the the foreseeable future.

that's is the point !! I try to make that clear, too. I'm looking for the mistake in my house - which is completely unnecessary! Maybe I am a little smarter about this thread than before and do not look for my installation in the future anymore. Maybe I'll only look if the calculator smokes ?! ;-)
