Hi, I am a fire new user... I have just finished my first data batch and it has found a triplet. Are these rare finds or are they quite common? Cheers Ewan |

>Best triplet power 11.91 Period 26.8690 >Best pulse power 6.19 Period 17.1131 Score 1.08 Out of curiosity: where in the output/BOINC client can I find this information? |

In the graphics above the red graph. |

>In the graphics above the red graph. That'd be the screensaver mode then? I never activated that one, to be honest. |

I went into (task commands) then select on graphics... Do you know if there is a final report on the data that the computer has processed? |

Triplets are very common so don't get excited about getting them. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Why does the software keep showing the triplet signal as the scan continues... At first i thought i was witnessing many hits. surely it would be better to keep it separate from the data being processed |

From memory the plot you see is a plot of the sample being analysed and the "best" signal in that sample is updated as the analysis proceeds, so if the "best" signal is found early it will remain displayed througout the rest of the analysis. Hi Rob, I'am seeing now how it works because there was a triplet on the left side, small in width early on in the process, at the end it changed to a more powerful and wider signal by the end of the run which turned out to be the best one.... Any more info on what else to look out for will be greatly appreciated... Cheers Ewan |
