Another win for Trump's foreign policy. Who wudda thunk? Certainly not our great lawfully elected leader.

No need to respond to him. He's also just running his mouth.
Just have to. There are so many misconceptions from American people about European countries. Many that are hilarious:)

Look how he just said "you" "lost in the war on terror".

I'm not for the US having non-defensive wars and our multiple police actions. I also don't hide inside, fearing a terrorist attack. But it is foolhardy to think Turkey's actions in Syria, against the Kurds, resulting in some ISIS prisoners escaping ... will lead to peaceful results.

What do you think his stance on the war on terror was before Trump was elected? Maybe our resident archivist can dig up some old posts to inform us?
Even if he'd been against it, what about Trump supporters in general?

Some people have misconceptions.
Others are inconsistent.
And yet others will take on a position to see what will provoke a (negative?) response. Trump himself did it. 5 positions in 5 minutes to see what would get the best reaction.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Gary excellent idea, possibly followed by criminal prosecution?
That would make sense.

Esper says Trump orders US troops to leave northern Syria

It seems the Kurds are no longer our allies in the war against ISIS.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/10/exclusive-giuliani-associate-linked-yanukovych-stolen-cash-191010120733266.html
Semyon Kislin, a business associate of Donald Trump who is due to give evidence at the US president's impeachment inquiry on October 14, tried to obtain millions of dollars that Ukrainian prosecutors deemed stolen
Kislin is a long-time friend of Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. The Ukraine-born businessman donated to Giuliani's political campaigns in the 1990s.
In January last year, Kislin lobbied the former US Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, to help him unlock millions of dollars that had in fact been seized in a major criminal inquiry.
This comes as the New York Times reported that federal investigators are examining Giuliani's efforts to undermine Yovanovitch as part of a broader campaign to pressure Ukraine into helping Trump's political prospects.

Since no 9/11 scale of attack has occurred inside the USA for the past 18 years.

I don't believe that most American's, rightly or wrongly, wish to be involved in this apparent never ending war regional war.

If ISIS or similar type win and limit their horrors to that region. I don't believe that most American's would wish to restart an American involvement. If ISIS, or similar, attempt or succeed in another 9/11 scale of attack against the people of the USA... Well...

Since American involvement appears to have ended. Do Western European people really wish to replace those American forces leaving with their own military forces?

If not... Why should American's be involved.

If so... Good luck. You will need it.

Yes. The big winner is Russia, who managed to drive the last American soldiers out of Syria without firing a single shot.

Add to the above partial post putting two different idea's together.. The following part of my post. With added underlining:

Another piece of information about our Presidential election:

Former first lady Michelle Obama would enter the 2020 Democratic New Hampshire primary race as the frontrunner, a new Franklin Pierce University-Boston Herald poll has found — though so far she’s insisted she won’t.
https://www.bostonherald.com/2019/10/14/fpu-herald-poll-michelle-obama-would-enter-nh-democratic-primary-race-as-frontrunner/

As I posted a couple of times in the past few months:

IMHO, if Michelle Obama enters the race. She will become the first woman President of the United States of America.

Edited by adding: As of now and unlike the other Democrat Presidential candidates. I would vote for Michelle Obama.

But is she eligible to run?
According to this she cannot register to run until 2021.
https://www.usapoliticstoday.org/michelle-obama-register-run-president-denied/
The State Department’s only job is to make sure that the candidate meets the three constitutional requirements to be president.
The first she meets easily. She is over thirty-five-years-old. The second she also meets having been born in the United Sates.
The third requirement, one few people think about, is where she came up short. You must be a resident “within the united states” for 14 years before you’re eligible. Why she doesn’t qualify is partly how she was raised but mostly of her own doing.

According to one "Conservative Army" poster :-D :-D :-D

Please reference a Constitutional expert source for this "Conservative Army's" poster hopes and dreams regarding Michelle Obama.

You're correct.

The "Conservative Army" poster reminds me of the "Not a Natural Born [American] Citizen" hysterical accusations against her husband Barack. Who was, of course, a Natural Born [American] Citizen.

The alternate universe infecting the present Democrat candidates and others in our Country. Does not appear to be infecting Michelle.

@ Clyde

Other than her gender(which no one is allowed to consider and be PC), and her association with Barack, exactly what are Michelle's qualifications and talents for POTUS?

Ever run a business? Ever been elected to anything?

Or just because she might be able to beat Trump? (Which might be more of a stretch than you would believe, considering all the anti Obama sentiment since his administration that would really motivate the Conservatives to get out and vote).

And that pesky I.G. report is still hanging like a sword of Damoclese over who ordered who to do what. That may change the entire picture of an election that's still over a year away.

Those Dims currently running did a masterful job of looking like the Ringling Brothers Clown Patrol in the debate.....I hope they carry that momentum forward making it a Trump cakewalk.
