Bonuses ARE part of the equation. From past experience I would say that about 50% of employee's of companies that give out the occasional bonus, use the bonus, not to buy new items but use it to pay off debts, like credit cards and missed mortgage payments. This doesn't put as much money into the economy as you might assume. edit] I see that 45 has admitted that this budget has killed ACA so most working, working class households, will face paying all the tax savings into the more expensive heath system, whatever TrumpCare is going to be called. And because of the new rules on child benefits all those with 17 to 22 year old's in higher education face extra bills of between $500 and $1000 per anum. Looks to me like big take not big give. |

Trump's Christmas present to the United Nations. When will Trump realize that he/US are not ruler of the world? He's getting more like Hitler 2.0 as each day goes by. No cheers. |

At very least both are/were "narcissistic, vengeful autocrats". Trump however "only" want to dictate what other sovereign nations should do. Not his own country like Hitler did. |

Edit: As of now: The CNN 'one liner' regarding the U.N. on their Front Page. Was below "Calculate how the tax bill affects you" Clyde. There are more pages in both Fox and CNN than the frontpage:) Fox Frontpage http://www.foxnews.com/ Yes. Fox, (AKA Trump News) has 5 articles, as of now, about the UN voting today. Just as many as CNN (AKA Fake News) has. |

Hmm. Top Fox News story is "Republicans turn up heat over claims Obama gave Hezbollah a pass". Seems like history to me. Secondary Top Fox News stories are "Trump puts his UN money where his mouth is". UN voting. And "Pizza magnate fought NFL brass over anthem protests". Sports, sort of. Where is the important meaning? Hmm again. Trump has not Tweeted yet on the UN voting. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump |

Edit: As of now: The CNN 'one liner' regarding the U.N. on their Front Page. Was below "Calculate how the tax bill affects you" Is Fox News actually a "News" outlet. Most of its broadcasting at peak times is opinion not News. Which is what causes the regular viewers to have strange idea's. But in its defense I will say its "News" is actually quite good, if you distinguish between News and the remainder. There are a lot, like the Daily Mail in the UK, that are only scandal sheets. |

#2 - Fox News is just reflecting how most Americans regard the U.N. That's because most people* don't understand how, in most cases, it actually aids the giver more than the recipient. More Education needed. edit] * I believe that most people includes the inhabitants and his friends in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. |

and only 9 backed them (including 7 very small countries that rely on handouts, of cause Israel was the other). And then there are the 30 or so that abstained, and of course those that didn't bother to show up for the vote(because it is INTERNATIONAL political theater?). If the People of Israel say their Capitol is Jerusalem, and the US decided 20 years ago to relocate their embassy to Jerusalem, it is ONLY the business of Israel and the US. UN get over yourself, we have. Maybe time to evict the tenants from 760 United Nations Plaza, Manhattan, New York City for being a recurring nuisance? Turkey, Yemen, Egypt, etc. The price of your arsenal just went up and your welfare has just been terminated. $6 Trillion dollars and many American lives spent. It's time to say enough is enough. We will back Israel and crush anyone who attacks her, but the rest of the Middle East can cut each other throats(as they've been blissfully doing for thousands of years). Thank you to Canada, Australia and our other TRUE friends. And from the Clinton News Network http://:http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/21/politics/haley-un-jerusalem/index.html Later Thursday an invitation was sent around to the 64 countries in addition to the US that did not support the resolution on Jerusalem, to attend a reception with Haley in January. The event was labeled as a means to thank the countries for "their friendship to the United States," according to a copy of the invite obtained by CNN. The core of the UN's replacement? Why Canada abstained "We are disappointed that this resolution is one-sided and does not advance prospects for peace to which we aspire, which is why we have abstained on today's vote," said Adam Austin, a spokesperson for Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland. "Canada's longstanding position is that the status of Jerusalem can be resolved only as part of a general settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian dispute. This has been the policy of consecutive governments, both Liberal and Conservative." Why Australia abstained Australian UN Ambassador Gillian Bird said Australia wanted to see the US play a leadership role in brokering peace and abstained from the vote, saying: "We do not wish to see any party isolated from the process." |

[quote]Hmm. #1 - The 'heat' on Obama, Hillary and her Husband, Mueller, the Democrat Operatives in the FBI, etc. Is just a reminder to the electorate that the Democrat Party and its politicians are worse than the Republican Party and Trump. Total B.S and you know it. #2 - Fox News is just reflecting how most Americans regard the U.N. Again, unfounded B.S. #3 - The 'Pizza Magnet', whose commercials and face were constantly on TV. Is just the latest example of the Witch Hunt that has infected both sides of the political spectrum. Have you got a problem with a "proper and thorough" investigation? Or are you just as corrupt as the rest? No B.S. |

....Walmart. United Technologies. Caterpillar. Home Depot. Also announcing plans to INVEST the tax relief in America and their Employees. Oh, and that Comcast bonus to Employees, MSNBC Squawking Heads have called it nothing but a publicity stunt. If they REALLY feel that way they should be challenged to literally 'put their money where their very large mouths are'...... DONATE their bonuses(from parent COMCAST) to Charity(other than the Clinton Fraudation). edit: I'm not saying there is a relationship, but interesting that S*#tcoin has fallen by 25-28% since the passage of the US tax reform act. Are the 1,000 people who own 40% of the faux currency getting out in favor of good old American Eagles? "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

To My Democrat Friends: Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2018, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other countries nor the only "America" in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes. To My Republican Friends: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Trump Promised to Protect Steel. Layoffs Are Coming Instead. The layoffs have stunned these steelworkers who, just a year ago, greeted President Trump’s election as a new dawn for their industry. Mr. Trump pledged to build roads and bridges, strengthen “Buy America†provisions, protect factories from unfair imports and revive industry, especially steel. So much for supporting the workers who believed his promises and voted for him. |

Trump Promised to Protect Steel. Layoffs Are Coming Instead. There will be a shortage and manufacturing businesses will have to put up prices of goods or close. Which will suck in goods from abroad and the economy will go down the drain. Plus there is liable to be retaliation and other markets like agriculture, where the US exports $billions, could be hit badly. Don't forget Reagan tried similar things on Japanese cars in 1981 and steel in 1984, did it work? The average cost of a car to you suckers rose by about $1,000 in the 3 years from 81 to 84, and 60,000 car workers lost their jobs. |

Nick and Mark... I can't speak for Mark, but I know the world is constantly changing, it always does. The problem as I see it is the US or more specifically Trump and his supporters thinking they can with a few strokes of a pen (or a few tweets, these days) return to the days when they assume America was great. Well I have news for them technology and the world have moved on. If you want to remain great, then investment in the STEM subjects would be a very good place to start. An area which Trump is withdrawing as much funding as he can. |
