Didn't Dangerous Donald start out wanting to reduce the US's involvement in other countries problems. And now we find you still have forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and a few other places in the middle east and there are escalating problems in N. Korea, Iran and Venezuela. So much for the usual peoples wishes for Isolationism. |

Didn't Dangerous Donald start out wanting to reduce the US's involvement in other countries problems. As usual,...........damned if he does.........damned if he doesn't........ and ............damn........he doesn't care what the armchair generals think. Thank you Mr President. @Clyde.. BTW: Do you agree with me that the totally stupid and incompetent Democrat Party and their supporter's are continually falling into a politically suicidal trap that Trump always sets? Well it looks like someone in v2.0 team has finally woken up. US will suffer from tariffs, Trump aide Larry Kudlow admits. and, The cost of Trump’s tariffs has fallen ‘entirely’ on US businesses and households: Goldman. So the real cost is being borne solely by the U.S. consumer (as some of us pointed out ages ago), but I see that Ivanka's Chinese produced clothing line still isn't being touched by tariffs. |

It's a poker game, who has the bigger stack of chips and is willing to risk them all. I firmly believe the US consumer can hang on longer avoiding plastic knick nacs made in China and a few bare shelves at Walmart longer than the Chinese diet can do without or pay astronomical prices for Pork and Soy Sauce.Well it looks like someone in v2.0 team has finally woken up. As was pointed out the other day, if it costs too much to make it in China....how long before an alternate source is found......Viet Nam, So Korea, Indonesia, Central America? Once an addict finds a cheaper dealer the game changes, is Xi (or more importantly, the hard liners)willing to let alternate suppliers gobble up the dollars that were going into their economy? If only it were that simple. Considering that a washing machine and other "white goods" have a life expectancy of 6 years. Therefore if Trump lasts the full eight years, every household will replace these good at least once in that period. And what has happened to the prices for these items, https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=us+washing+machine+price+increases If I read that correctly these items have just wiped out the tax cuts and a significant part of the households increase in wages. |

The man is only interested in one thing, pushing the middle class down to the poverty level as fast as is possible. We all know he is obsessed with winning, what better way to win than to eliminate any potential competition! Make them broke! |

Not to mention the price of locally made new cars over there are on the rise too and these latest tariffs are likely to push the average price of those up by another $1800us according to industry experts. If only it were that simple. It's not the left the right hates, it's the pundits on MSNBC, who are pretty much Republicans or Republican-lite. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Quite frankly if I was Xi I'd be telling v2.0 that if he doesn't stop his stupidity then China will call in all of the U.S.'s owned debt all at once and sell off all its U.S. bank notes. Now that would not only break v2.0's back, but the U.S.'s as well (now that would be a deal breaker for the world's greatest deal breaker wouldn't it?). It's a war that the U.S. must decide on how it'll lose, it could just lose small time (and lose a little pride) or it could lose big time and go down the drain for years (well its ethics and morals are already there anyway with v2.0 at the helm). |

Where do you get your ideas from? China doesn't need US goods, it gets coal and iron ore from Australia, and its soya beans from Brazil now, so that your taxes are been used to bail out the US producers. And China has plenty of other places to sell their products. The US producers of White Goods put their prices up, above the rate required to cover the extra cost of steel, just because they could and match the price of imported Chinese washing machines, increasing the shareholders dividends at virtually no cost. And who outside of the US buy's your cars, only Jeep increased their exports in 2018. Most US car and small vehicle production is bought by Americans, and all those vehicle prices have, or will go up, because of the extra metal tariffs imposed by 'you know whom'. Further pricing US vehicles out of the export market. So far, not including the extra tariffs announced in the last few days, the tariffs have cost each US household nearly $800 in 2018. |

the Rump tariffs are the taxation without representation response to cover the massive tax cut and job cut act he shoved through. |

Tulsi is great. It's a shame my voting rights are in Hawai'i (as that's the last State I lived and got taxed in). She's going to kill it in Hawai'i so there's not much point of me registering to vote I guess. We'll see. |

A Democrat attacking both a Never Trumping former Director of the Department of National Intelligence and CNN!The Dim are beginning to fear the 'light at the end of the tunnel' may be an oncoming train named Barr. So the rabid dogs are starting to bite each other. 24 different takes on what will beat Trump is fun to watch. He can sit back and let them expose each other's stupidity then pick up the pieces for another 4 year term. I wonder which Chimpanzee will be first to throw their poo at the others in the debate. So sad the American taxpayer actually pay these clowns. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Bernie would mop the floor with Trump on election day. But until then, the Dems will do everything in their power to avoid a Trump vs Sanders election. Because apparently politics isn't about winning :) |

Bernie would mop the floor with Trump on election day......as was so ably demonstrated in 2016 by the Dim rigging Hil-liar-y's nomination. Newsflash, the tighter Bernie and AOC get, the less chance he has of winning either the nomination or the election. I believe it was James Carevell who coined the phrase "It's the economy, stupid". If the economy tanks in the next 20 months Trump will lose, that is the only hope the Dim have. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Newsflash, the tighter Bernie and AOC get, the less chance he has of winning either the nomination or the election. I see your point (even I though I still don't understand why a lot of people seem to be severely allergic to AOC and only mildly allergic to Bernie). As far as the economy goes, it was Bill unfortunately that made that quote famous and we're both allergic to the Clintons, so we agree on that :) But yeah, I do understand the point you're trying to make so my answer is: If the Dems go with a Biden or a Harris then yeah, it'll take a miracle to beat Trump. Like the economy tanking as you said. But if by some miracle Sanders manages to get the nomination then I see no reason for the people of Wisconsin (for example) to vote for Trump. They aren't any richer than they were under Obama and they know it. |

They aren't any richer than they were under Obama and they know it.Only those who have a colour fixation would disagree there (and they'd only say that because they do have a colour fixation). ;-) |
