You mean despotism like this?

That seems to be working in N. Korea, so Trump wants to emulate his buddy Kim.

Another win for Trump's foreign policy. Who wudda thunk? Certainly not our great lawfully elected leader.

No need to respond to him. He's also just running his mouth.
Just have to. There are so many misconceptions from American people about European countries. Many that are hilarious:)

Look how he just said "you" "lost in the war on terror".

I'm not for the US having non-defensive wars and our multiple police actions. I also don't hide inside, fearing a terrorist attack. But it is foolhardy to think Turkey's actions in Syria, against the Kurds, resulting in some ISIS prisoners escaping ... will lead to peaceful results.

What do you think his stance on the war on terror was before Trump was elected? Maybe our resident archivist can dig up some old posts to inform us?
Even if he'd been against it, what about Trump supporters in general?

Some people have misconceptions.
Others are inconsistent.
And yet others will take on a position to see what will provoke a (negative?) response. Trump himself did it. 5 positions in 5 minutes to see what would get the best reaction.
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

Gary excellent idea, possibly followed by criminal prosecution?
That would make sense.

Esper says Trump orders US troops to leave northern Syria

It seems the Kurds are no longer our allies in the war against ISIS.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/10/exclusive-giuliani-associate-linked-yanukovych-stolen-cash-191010120733266.html
Semyon Kislin, a business associate of Donald Trump who is due to give evidence at the US president's impeachment inquiry on October 14, tried to obtain millions of dollars that Ukrainian prosecutors deemed stolen
Kislin is a long-time friend of Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. The Ukraine-born businessman donated to Giuliani's political campaigns in the 1990s.
In January last year, Kislin lobbied the former US Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, to help him unlock millions of dollars that had in fact been seized in a major criminal inquiry.
This comes as the New York Times reported that federal investigators are examining Giuliani's efforts to undermine Yovanovitch as part of a broader campaign to pressure Ukraine into helping Trump's political prospects.

Since American involvement appears to have ended. If so... Good luck. You will need it.
Yes. The big winner is Russia, who managed to drive the last American soldiers out of Syria without firing a single shot.

But is she eligible to run?
According to this she cannot register to run until 2021.
https://www.usapoliticstoday.org/michelle-obama-register-run-president-denied/
The State Department’s only job is to make sure that the candidate meets the three constitutional requirements to be president.
The first she meets easily. She is over thirty-five-years-old. The second she also meets having been born in the United Sates.
The third requirement, one few people think about, is where she came up short. You must be a resident “within the united states” for 14 years before you’re eligible. Why she doesn’t qualify is partly how she was raised but mostly of her own doing.

@ Clyde

Other than her gender(which no one is allowed to consider and be PC), and her association with Barack, exactly what are Michelle's qualifications and talents for POTUS?

Ever run a business? Ever been elected to anything?

Or just because she might be able to beat Trump? (Which might be more of a stretch than you would believe, considering all the anti Obama sentiment since his administration that would really motivate the Conservatives to get out and vote).

And that pesky I.G. report is still hanging like a sword of Damoclese over who ordered who to do what. That may change the entire picture of an election that's still over a year away.

Those Dims currently running did a masterful job of looking like the Ringling Brothers Clown Patrol in the debate.....I hope they carry that momentum forward making it a Trump cakewalk.

Whistleblower had 'professional' tie to 2020 Democratic candidate
by Byron York

.....so now we have an idea why Schiff the Stiff is no longer wanting the 'whistle blower' to testify.........he/she is apparently more of a 'horn blower'.....

The Slime in the Swamp is getting desperate to remove the President before he uncovers all their sick little schemes and sycophants....(unintentional pun but I'll take it),
@ Clyde

Other than his personality and vulgarity, what has Donald Trump done that is so unforgivable? When fighting pigs you need someone who will not be afraid to wallow in the same mud. Mitt the Twit showed he had no guts and less brains than Obama in 2012 and he's still crying about that and doing his best to be a Dim in disguise(which is not working).

The lesser of two evils is not a qualification worth wasting a vote, in my opinion. The administration Trump has put together, despite having to fight for confirmation on every candidate, has brought jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans that Mr AND Mrs Obama said would never happen again in America without a 'magic wand'.

Despite his warts I'll still choose the current President and the longer the Dims continue to press for a coup the more undecided voters will come to the Right side of the fence.
