Donald Trump says he wants the US to withdraw from the 30-year-old INF disarmament agreement on the abolition of mid-range missiles. According to the US President, Russia has "broken the agreement for many years".

European reactions.
"US withdrawal from the INF treaty would be a gift to Russia that exposes Europe to a growing nuclear threat. "
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has urged the United States to consider the consequences of withdrawing from the INF, including its impact on European security and on future efforts at nuclear disarmament.
"The treaty…has for 30 years been an important pillar of our European security architecture," Maas said in a statement on Sunday. "We have urged Russia to address serious allegations that it is violating the agreement. We now urge the US to consider the possible consequences [of withdrawal]," he added.

In addition:

Britain backs Trump on Russia arms treaty withdrawal

Britain’s defense secretary says his country stands “absolutely resolute” with the United States as President Donald Trump says he’ll pull out from a landmark arms control agreement with Russia.

Gavin Williamson blames Russia for endangering the treaty. He’s calling on the Kremlin to “get its house in order.”

Trump says he’ll exit the agreement because Russia has violated it “for many years” and it’s preventing the U.S. from developing new weapons.

Backing Trump, Williamson tells the Financial Times that Moscow has made a “mockery” of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.

Both Russia and the US allege violations of the treaty on each other.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermediate-Range_Nuclear_Forces_Treaty#Alleged_violations
If the United States withdraws from the INF, Russia has no choice but to answer, inter alia through "military" measures. It was the message from Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Rjabkov, following Trump's statement to leave the agreement, according to state Russian media.

In February 2018, Williamson dined with Lubov Chernukhin, the wife of a former Putin minister, in exchange for £30,000.

And is your Country and others "out of range"? Guessing there is no more need anymore for the USA to defend others.
I do understand Germany's need to placate Evil Putin, but not other Countries.
SO why have you reactivated your 2nd Fleet?

Mr Modify...

His beat now is what strategists increasingly say is America’s backdoor — the Atlantic Ocean — and it now will be patrolled by his Norfolk-based 2nd Fleet.

Then, it would be my hope that both would stand together before the press and us to condemn all mobs.

You know why you have mobs?
Your country is ph^kd up.
Normal circumstances never produce mobs, which by the way, became quite prominent with Tea Baggers a few years ago.

Rightists didn't seem to mind mobs when it was goofy tea baggers doing the yelling.

moomin... You still believe Putin's claims and not the British regarding who really abrogated the Treaty?
Is your Country and others "out of range"? Guessing there is no more need anymore for the USA to defend others and stop Putin from initially abrogating the Treaty.
I don't like US Tomahawk or Russian missiles with nuclear warheads buzzing over my head. Perhaps even explode here.
A threat that is real if a major war starts in Europe.
The INF treaty perhaps didn't work so well but now without any treaty at all...

Then the US is obligated to defend other NATO members if attacked according to Article 5.
And who initially abrogated the treaty is not of any concern to countries outside NATO such as Sweden and Finland.
Well if Trump would decide NATO should be disbanded all together and Putin get want he wants.

Dear moomin...
Do we believe Putin or the British. Regarding who abrogated the Treaty.
If the British. Now what should be done?
Who can believe Putin?
I believe that Russia is the part that doesn't follow the INF treaty the most.
Then of course the US have to do the same.
Dangerous game if you ask me.
Strange that Britain follow US because they have all to gain with a working INF treaty.
What to do? Is it possible to get rid of Trump and Putin who really are a threat to world peace?

Will Trump become the 2nd black hole of American historical memory?

Since then, the categories of our national debate on Vietnam have remained largely unchanged, compounded with the passage of time by an amnesia that suppresses events but remembers encrusted hatreds. A balanced judgment on Vietnam continues to elude us—and therefore the ability to draw lessons from a national tragedy which America inflicted on itself. As a result, Vietnam has become the black hole of American historical memory.*

Edit: Or worse, will he become another National Tragedy that America inflicted on itself?

This universalist approach had a long pedigree. From the beginning of the twentieth century, one president after another had proclaimed that America had no “selfish” interests, that its principal, if not its only, international goal was universal peace and progress. Truman, in his inaugural address of January 20, 1949, had committed his country to the objective of a world in which “all nations and all peoples are free to govern themselves as they see fit.” No purely national interest would be pursued.*
