The Dims fail to understand there are a great number of Servicemen/women, their families, and Veterans who take it rather personally when they don't get paid, while those who created the situation continue to receive their undeserved pieces of silver.

The Military votes, their families vote, the Veterans vote.......and there are a lot more of them than there are Dreamers.

I have nothing against Dreamers, and I agree with the President that they need to be given a place in US Society. But I, and the country, owe a lot more the men and women protecting us and going unpaid........

I was told about 20 years ago during a legal 'negotiation' over a business deal, that in a successful arbitration both sides feel they lost.......in this case the People lost......a little more faith in their leaders from both sides.

I would agree that McConnell is probably on his last term and Schumer has now spent his wad and is probably no longer a threat in 2020. Now we'll see if new leaders rise to the top.

One thing is certain BOTH sides need to come to agreement on illegal immigration encompassing the entire spectrum of the problem, then get on with actually passing a budget(something that hasn't been done in a very long time).
