Possibly Truman, who made tough and mostly correct decisions after WW2.Diving Korea so that we now face Kim. Interesting choice for best. |

trying to find out all you can about the opposition is not illegal. How about creating a fictitious file then using it as the basis for an application to the FISA Court for unmasking participants in intercepted communications and then submitting or participating in using that fake file as the basis for a criminal investigation wasting millions of taxpayer dollars for no results directly related to those fake files. Neither 'guilty' plea was for 'colluding' with Russians. But rather that good old stand by for the Federal Bogus Investigators.......not telling them the same thing the same way two times(ask Martha Stewart). If Mueller is worth his salt there will be some heads rolling on the other side as well. If not there will forever remain the suspected taint. What was the 'insurance policy' mentioned in the 'very special' Agent's email? And why won't the FBI deny they paid part of the bill for the fake file? The Dims wanted an investigation and it's about to bite them in the mule. ![]() "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

It looks like Trump's team will go to any length to stop Mueller's investigation. There must be something they need to hide. Cheers. |

Do you want to explain how you got the court to break the seal? Or has someone broken an order of the court* and needs a long stay in a small room? Or are you inventing stories again? *On 45's order? |

Dividing Korea was an act to appease Russia even though they didn't declare war on Japan in WWII until the outcome was guaranteed. It looks like Trump's team will go to any length to stop Mueller's investigation. It has been recently rumored (yes, I know what rumors are...) that Trump may be preparing to fire Mueller on Dec. 22nd or thereabouts (after Congress is in holiday recess) and this may be either an excuse or the reason why depending on one's interpretation. I guess we'll wait and see. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” --- Margaret Mead |

You omit, to mislead the other posters of what I said. Why? BTW: This is what I posted regarding Truman. "Possibly Truman, who made tough and mostly correct decisions after WW2. From an Opinion Piece: Something is happening in the final days of 2017. People are noticing that Donald Trump has gotten a lot done in his tumultuous first year in the White House. Assume that tax reform passes and is signed into law. If in, say, 2014, a Republican, of either the conservative or moderate variety, predicted that in 2017 a newly-elected GOP president and Congress would — Cut corporate and individual taxes. Repeal the Obamacare individual mandate. Appoint a highly-respected conservative to the Supreme Court. Appoint a one-year record number of judges to the circuit courts. Get rid of reams of unnecessary regulations. Destroy ISIS. Approve pipeline projects and new oil drilling. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-amid-firestorms-trump-has-year-of-solid-policy-accomplishments-can-he-keep-going/article/2643791 Disregarding if one agrees or disagrees with the positive description of the above achievements. The critics, or worse, of Trump in the News Media, Social Media, Political Parties, Washington Swamp, the Ruling Classes, et al. Have not been able to stop Trump. Can they change their failed tactics? I doubt it. When the Tax Reform bill passes, without a single Dim vote, the dye will be cast. When starting in March and continuing through November American workers see their paycheck have increased in take home pay(by reduction of taxation). When American workers and retirees see their IRAs and 401ks continue to increase in value at a pace never before seen. .............when the 2018 election occurs those Senators and Congressmen/women who stood shoulder to shoulder against ANYTHING Trump, will stand shoulder to shoulder in the unemployment line while their party loses more seats, and more importantly, loses control of more local governments. U of Alabama's motto of 'Roll Tide!' is about to make itself known across the US as the Anti 'Anti' Tide rolls over the burial site of the Dim Party. A site of their own making. A grave site they could have avoided by being flexible enough to take part in the crafting of the bill instead of just crying on the floor of Congress. About as effective as the Hill-liary Losers "shouting at the sky". Stupidity is a cruel mistress. ![]() "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

I see that this great leader took 3 hours before he tweeted on the Washington rail tragedy. And then as usual he didn't mention those killed, injured or the first responders for a further 10 minutes. He first had to have a go about the lack of funding for infrastructure, which again shows his ignorance, as this was the first scheduled run of a new higher speed link between Seattle WA and Portland OR. |

Again, some would criticize Trump if he cured Cancer. Get a grip Nick. Your opinion of what, when, where and about whom Trump tweets means less than nothing. Get over yourself and Trump. It's eating you alive. And you need to educate yourself regarding the 'new high speed rail line'. The Mayor of one town near the crash site had warned repeatedly that running high speed rail traffic on that line would result in exactly what happened. Good to know you're so concerned about US citizens instead of your own. I don't recall a single post here suggesting your leadership needs a little fine adjustment but I do see regular posts from outside the US sticking their nose in here. Envious perhaps? ![]() "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

It's eating you alive. Why don't you get some education and realise that things that happen in the US affect just about everybody worldwide. It is much too early to think you have any idea what caused that accident. And it is only advertising that calls it "high speed" 79 mph is just about normal average speed elsewhere. And regarding your previous I hope you are going to be very happy with your small tax reduction, which has a very limited lifespan, and that you will be overjoyed with the further restriction in what you can put into your 401k/annum. |

It's eating you alive. I disagree that Trump's tweets have no negative effects. But in a larger sense. I agree that those giving negative opinions regarding his tweets, and I generally agree with them regarding the nature of Trump's tweets. Are probably irrelevant regarding the 2018 and 2020 elections. Just a bunch of people, who will have no impact, patting each other on their backs. Like Trump... Hate Trump... Eye, quoting from the article you cited "Our community was concerned about the safety of a high-speed passenger rail line coming through an urbanized area on what had been, for years, essentially an abandoned rail route," Anderson said after the derailment., the mayor was concerned about the impact on the community, not a major derailment. Since this is local news for me there has been much coverage. The mayor is correct, in fact all rail tragedies could be avoided if all rail transport were eliminated. He was being a selfritchious NIMBY, as most local officials are. |
