A continutation of this thread...

The is the third and current Donald Trump (45th President of the United States of America) thread. Everything about Donald Trump is on-topic: ie himself, his Presidency, his party, his cabinet, his family, his business interests, and the state of the U.S. Federal Government during his term.

This is not the Personalities Of and Gripes About People Who Post in the Donald Trump Thread Thread. Those and other offtopic material may be removed.

I do not like nor respect Trump. I believe Trump, as with Bush Jr. and Obama, is a Damaging President. Trump, who was Constitutional Elected as President of the United States and if we don't degenerate into a 'Banana Republic'. Will be President until January 2025, unless the voters elect to remove him in the 2020 election.

Having said that. It appears that the Politically Corrupted FBI, Mueller's Compromised Investigation, the Obama DOJ, and the continuing hysteria of Russiagate. Which is really disclosing the association between Hillary, the DNC and payments to foreign entities to elect Hillary. Are not only politically worse than Trump. Some involved may have committed criminal acts.

Just headlines for a few days. Let's just look at one. As the Washington Post disclosed, adding my underlining:

Clinton campaign, DNC paid for research that led to Russia dossier

"The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said."

"Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research."

"After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity."

"The Clinton campaign and the DNC, through the law firm, continued to fund Fusion GPS’s research through the end of October 2016, days before Election Day."

In September 2015, Fusion GPS was hired by The Washington Free Beacon*, a conservative political website, to do opposition research on Trump and other Republican presidential candidates.

*The Free Beacon was founded by Michael Goldfarb, Aaron Harrison, and Matthew Continetti, who remains its editor-in-chief.

Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by an unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

Those people said that it is standard practice for political campaigns to use law firms to hire outside researchers to ensure their work is protected by attorney-client and work-product privileges.

Edit therefore nothing unusual, again I refer you to "The Art of War"

Sorry... Islamist Terrorists is an accurate description of those committing the acts we are referencing. No different than accurately referring to people as Christian Terrorists. Those who commit these same acts in the name of their religion.

Islam is a Religion. Islamist Terrorists are people killing in The Name of Their Religion. It is not the same.

Both extremes who state that either Islam is a terrorist religion. Or those wishing, for political or ideological reasons, to censor the truth regarding what the killing is about. Are fundamentally incorrect.

Why we should we not accurately describe this group. The same as we would describe Christian people who commit terrorism in the name of their religion.

You are making a mountain out of a molehill, trying to find out all you can about the opposition is not illegal. And if in that investigation you find, what might be an illegal act, it would be wrong not to inform the relevant authorities. They are not protected the same as lawyers, doctors and vicars etc.

The unknown is which republican looser tried to sink Hillary and steered her campaign the the useless crap pile of junk Fusion GPS produced for them so they could have her waste money on even more junk, and maybe if they were lucky have it released and blow up in her face.

Oh wait a second, Hillary is a fool only plays out when it is email security, not when it is something else.

Understand what is the foundation of what is really happening.

The hysterical and year long Trump-Russia Collusion has been shown to be a fraud.

The attempt to 'take down' Trump has resulted in the unintended exposure of the Politically (and possibly worse) Corrupt Anti Trump/Pro Hillary FBI. It has exposed the Mueller Investigation. It has exposed Obama's Attorney General. It has exposed a Democrat Former President and a Democrat running for the Presidency. It has exposed.... Well, you get the idea.

I have repeated stated that I do not support Trump and believe he is a bad President. As I said the same about Obama during his eight years as President.

Unlike many in the Media, the Political Establishment, the Washington Swamp and their supporters. I make no excuses, nor attempt to deflect from the truth for political or ideological reasons. The attacks from the Pro/Always and Anti/Never Trump posters regarding my anti both sides opinions. Is a confirmation of how I have described both sides.

Who was the last good president and why?

If you don't mean didn't do much harm, or was just OK. Good?

FDR for sure. No need to ask why. Possibly Truman, who made tough and mostly correct decisions after WW2. But there were many negatives.

Unlike many. I don't expect much from Presidents. They are usually no better than most people and occasionally many times worse. Presidents are usually just 'there' (someone has to be). With their supporters attributing them with (fill-in the positives). And their detractors attributing them with (fill-in the negatives).

Sometimes, the detractors of some Presidents. Be it Obama, Trump, Wilson or Buchanan, are correct. Sometimes, the supporters of some Presidents. Be it FDR, 'Teddy' Roosevelt or Lincoln, are correct.
