It is too bad something as fine as that doesn't produce human food.

Ok, I went back and resized my verticals again. After clearing the browser cache, the pictures should now fit without scrolling.

Makes me think of the old saying "Red at night, sailor's delight. Red in the morning, sailor's warning."

Yep I was thinking the same thing as I took the pictures.

Those are beautiful pictures, Bernie. Capturing the double decker bus going by adds to it.

Even the Bible, Matthew 16:2-3 :)
He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ ".
It's called Morning Blush here and is actually a good sign of bad weather coming in.

A couple of shots taken while walking down the canal towpath...

Both excellent shots.

How did you get them to pose so nicely for you? ;~) The cemetery near my house where my paternal grandparents and Muhammad Ali and Col. Sanders are buried has a lake where a couple swans like to swim. I might go out this afternoon and see if I can get their picture.

Just got back from the cemetery, and no swans to be found, today, but a variety of ducks greeted me -

What type of duck is this fellow with the pompadour?

Hello!

Now that's a monument!

I went to a radio play tonight of the famous War of the Worlds broadcast. It was staged inside a real radio performance studio that seats about 50 people. They will be broadcasting the play live, Tuesday night, at 9 pm (EST). You will be able to stream it online here - http://wfpk.org/2018/halloween-fun-day-2/

Here's some pictures I took of their setup, tonight. They didn't want pictures taken during the actual performance.

My neighborhood had trick or treat last night since rain storms are predicted for Halloween. This was my set-up -

My witch taps her finger on the window when people walk up.

I heard one kid say she looks friendly. That really wasn't the idea. ;~)

Flash -

Some 1970's Halloween memories here in the same home -

Me, in the living room in my home-made robot costume, and the Halloween cake my mother made -

Me, in front of Mr. Scarecrow, who you can see in my photos above, and who has graced the front door on Halloween here for many moons -

Kids today watch Hollywood movies that have cameras from the point of view of the bullet.
