Need help please with Optimized Lunatics Apps

Hi All, After a few years of not doing SETI as I used laptops, I have now brought a big PC and wish to start SETI again. Previoulsy I used to run Lunatics Optimized Apps for SETI and Astropulse, so after downloading BOINC and reattahcing to the SETI project, I then went off to get the Lunatics Apps. I have installed the apps for my Ryzen 7/GTX1060 STRIX PC, and restarted several times but I am still running the MB Win64 SSE3 stock apps. I have looked around and see no other install info so I do not know how to get BOINC to runs the optimized apps. First make sure you are using the latest Lunatics installer Beta-06 from Mike's World Then you must make your own choices in app selection from the installer and not let it choose defaults. For your Ryzen and 1060 you would choose the AVX CPU MB and AP apps. For the 1060 you should choose the SoG OpenCL app. Anything else will be a degradation. You should not choose any CUDA app. That will get rid of the massive bloat in your app_info which is trying to cover all possible CUDA classes since inception and will not even run on your 1060. Look at the /Docs directory in the project folder for tuning parameters for the 1060. If you don't run custom tuning for the SoG app you are leaving 75% of its performance off the table. You want the mb_cmdline_win_x86_SSE3_OpenCL_NV_SoG.txt file. You could give these values a go. -hp -period_iterations_num 15 -high_perf -sbs 1024 -spike_fft_thresh 4096 -tune 1 64 1 4 -oclfft_tune_gr 256 -oclfft_tune_lr 16 -oclfft_tune_wg 256 -oclfft_tune_ls 512 -oclfft_tune_bn 64 -oclfft_tune_cw 64 If there is screen lag/ lost characters when typing, change the -period_iterations_num to 30 and see how it goes (the values will take effect when the next WU starts processing). If there is no screen/ keyboard lag, try setting it to 10.
