I have rebooted my Computers several times since the beginning of November.

Why does BOINC persistently tell me that there are "new" notices, when in actual fact it's the same one, dated 3rd November, re the fund raising drive.

There no other notices listed.

(Which is about as good a reason as I've come across regarding this "feature")

That's 1 of the reasons that I stick with an old version of BOINC, it has a much more usable Messages tab instead, but every time someone posts into 1 of those News threads you get to know about it. ;-)

Yep.
Options, Other options, General tab, Notice reminder interval- set to Never.

I keep thinking that sometimes I'll compile a version of the BOINC Manager with all of the annoying Notice stuff removed and the Messages tab back in place.
Until then I will just keep using the 6.10 Manager with the newer client.
