Works for some time and then:

11/10/2017 6:46:00 PM | SETI@home | update requested by user
11/10/2017 6:46:03 PM | SETI@home | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
11/10/2017 6:46:03 PM | SETI@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU
11/10/2017 6:46:25 PM | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server
11/10/2017 6:46:26 PM | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
11/10/2017 6:46:28 PM | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

Something tell´s me, the servers not like me.

SetiStats has a graphical page generated from the Server Status Page data here:
https://setistats.haveland.com/

I like this creation rate I seen on the SSP :)
Current result creation rate ** 0/sec 0/sec -0.0323/sec 3m
I guess it was a claw back of tasks from anyone who has said negative things in the last 24 hours, LMAO.

Well my 2500K rig just ran out of GPU work, but my 3570K rig is keeping its head above water so far.

Cheers.

Uhh.......
Time to chill a bit, marsinph.
You are not the only one a bit frustrated about not getting work at the moment.
So, Grant missed a WU that he got and crunched.
No big deal.
Certainly has nothing to do with the problem being found and fixed.
We are all waiting on that.

Meow.

. . How very mellow of you Mark, congrats! Yes a chill pill would be a good thing, I wish that Cognac bottle were real :)

. . That's true, but the pain in the hip pocket with every electric power bill is VERY real :) It is easier to bear when you can tell yourself it is achieving something. :)

I must say that BoincTasks is much more responsive when only monitoring 280 tasks instead of the usual 1700+ that I normally have.
LOL, we have to find some form of good in all this :D

Noticed that the majority of the servers on the SSP are not showing with errors accessing the disks. I wonder if this is an attempt to fix the slowness in accessing the database?

It's always a good idea to change them out regularly, anyway, so probably as good a time as any. ;^)

And the disk are back. I got 19 tasks on Numbskull and one task for Pipsqueek. Still can't get the servers to respond to my Linux cruncher.

I'd say the databases are still struggling in molasses. Any request to look at the tasks on board any cruncher just times out.

Yeah.
That last lot of work, was the last lot of work I've got since then. A couple of CPU cores are already idle.
Looks like it's going to be an all weekender.

Some one could educate me please. Iknow that could be a silly question for those who knows but.

If the database is slow (no matter why) my question is why we can´t get any WU if there are plenity of WU ready splitted on the cache?

In my ignorance i expect a low down in the split process, data UL etc . but not an almost total stop on the DL process.

Thanks in advance for any enlightment.
